All these new games coming out, and all this awesome stuff, and then.....what else are people looking for? I mean, games are great and all, but there has to be OTHER gifts that people want. So, what are you looking for, my fellow escapists?

I myself am looking for some computer upgrades (RAM specifically) a newer monitor, or a new TV to double as a monitor. As well as a few comic books.

Some DVDs, books, and action figures.
Maybe some cool shirts.

There's this one Big Boss figure in the Cold War Camo that's really awesome, but is, like, $150 off the intehrwebz.

Edit: Oh yeah- The Walking Dead board game. It looks really fun. I wonder if I could get my family to play it, though...

A few European Board games (Believe I mentioned Agricola and Puerto Rico), a new Kindle, socks, pants, and a Bathrobe, a Glados mousepad, and razor blades since they are damn expensive, and I hate buying them. My Christmas list is pretty boring these days, what with getting older and most entertainment stuff I get being of a downloadable variety.

I went into HMV and I found the entire Batman Beyond series box set. Its $100. Not bad for a Christmas Present price right?

I want to spend time with my girlfriend, maybe go and see a couple of films with her at the cinema, I don't care. I think spending time with the people I love is much more important to me now than it was 4-5 years ago. I'm not fussed about receiving material goods anymore, age (and maturity) does funny things to people...

EDIT: Although if I had to choose an item or object to receive, LOTR: War In The North on PC is a very likely first.

Just something I think worth noting....Is that people might look here for suggestions on what they should get.

But I have not heard of people getting money as a gift usually. Maybe a card or something, but not enough to make up for actual gifts.

Despite Matt Ward being the worst thing to happen to Games Workshop, I grudgingly admit that some of the new Necron fluff is pretty damn neat. Especially Trazyn the Infinite, or Trollzyn. A homicidal robot who just enjoys fucking with people and stealing their shit, kind of like Eldrad, who is a dick.

I still expect the codex rules to be broken as shit though, but the fluff is still neat.

The biggest thing I want is some time. Between work, school and the gym I haven't had much time to spend with my friends and family....and some of the games that I have picked up and have barely touched.

If we are talking material goods, I wouldn't mind some books or Blu-rays to round out my collections. There are a couple of expensive things that I want (i.e. another guitar or some turntables) but that always seems like too big a gift to recieve

Either a new Jacket (but i have enough of those), New boots or Shoes, some stylish gloves or...

...a new computer... considering i haven't got one for the last 10 years... only a busted piece of crap that takes 2 hours just to turn on, and a laptop that can't even handle minecraft...

I'm already getting a new fancy mousepad as the I'm currently using is way too small for me, my mouse takes up a full quarter of the surface sitting still.

Beyond that I wouldn't mind having another external hard drive to back things up to, more storage space is always a good thing.

That or money so that I can use it on other stuff that I might not know I want yet.

I actually have very few games on my Solstice list.

A few highlights:

The Re-release (with remastered graphics and interviews with Ikuhara-sama) of Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Season 6 of the new Doctor Who.

Season 7 of House, M.D.

A ten perfume gift set from Sephora.

Saints Astray, by Jacqueline Carey
