What do you want from Gears of War 3?

Wow... some of you are basically saying "I want it to not be a gears of war game"....

and seriously, the whole "dirt / grey" joke is getting old... it's a barren planet and they spend a lot of time underground and in areas where things have come up from under the ground. Shut up about the color scheme already.

Also, the multi-player was pretty balanced, aside from a few stupid glitches... so yeah, fix the glitches, put the gun spawn points in logical locations and add 4 player co-op story mode damnit!

-Explain stuff from Gears 2 (sires, how some random scientist knew the locust HQ location from 20 or w/e years before, what the hell the locust did to tai to make him deface himself, etc)
-Balance the weapons, start by removing the boomshot completely
-Host Migration, or please please please, dedicated servers!
-Special horde mode where you play as locust against AI COG soldiers
-Fight a berzerker underground so you cant just hammer of dawn or make it fall off a train...

For the mutant/scary horror level on gears of war 2 to be explained.

That level didn't really have anything to do with the rest of the plot besides finding out were the locust queen was.

You didn't get that? I thought it was pretty obvious. See below.

To the first one, my theory is that the humans created the Locust, probably as super-soldiers for the Pendulum Wars. The Sires were kind of prototypes that didn't work out so well. The scientists would know the location of the Locust HQ, then, because they sent them there, as the computer implied. Honestly, that seemed sort of obvious to me. As for the last part, I'm guessing they just tortured the fuck out of him. That scene was meant to show how horrible the Locust torture is (as if the giant clam marks weren't enough), because, if it's bad enough to drive the steel-willed Tai to suicide, it must be awful.

As for that last part, yeah, that sounds awesome.

Fucking working and balanced Multiplayer.
I have never gotten more frustrated at a game before.

anyhoo I love the single player and I cant wait for them to continue the story.
Some more refined chainsaw duels might help.

Yeah, you summed up my position perfectly. The Single Player is great, but the multiplayer is the most over rated, broken thing I've ever played. I mean, say what you want about Halo and CoD, at least their multiplayer is functional on a basic level.

hmmm well I'm not much for the multiplayer, but as for Horde, maybe allow guests? sure they had a good reason to take that away, but maybe make a mode of Horde where that's allowed
oh and variety in Horde mode, like how Firefight helped mix things up

and ummm a female gear choice like in the comics? that'd be pretty cool

and the usual mix, definitely more enemy types
oh and since the Lancer is so awesome, variations of it! like with different bayonet attachments =D

(my co-op buddy would like to say no razor hail lolll)

edit: oh the eldest Carmine brother? and for him to not die? lolll (and find out what happened to Dizzy...hopefully something badass)
