Hmm no RIver and have Jack in an episode. Seriously I want to see Jack meet the 11th Doctor, shame he was away filming miracle day when he was going to be in an episode.

MOAR DALEKS! I just want an episode where the 11th Doctor has his time to shine and kick some Dalek arse. In the ww2 episode he didn't really do anything, we need something like from the older episodes where the doctor just Pwns every Dalek! Also, I really don't want anymore episodes focusing on River, heck I'd prefer a few more Cpt Jack episodes to another River one. We know who river is already and we know all her secrets, there's nothing else we need to be told!

Some sort of interesting alternative timeline, perhaps where one of the World Wars ends differently (sort of 'The Man in the High Castle-esque').

The Tardis gets captured.

Someone actually be a match for the Doctor.

A plotline that makes sense..

I'm with several other posters on bringing back Jack, also while I like Amy and Rory I think it's time to move onto a new companion(s) for the most part, they've already had two seasons.

More Rory. Less Amy. NO RIVER SONG. Absolutely zero portrayal of parenthood as a super-special magical force that resolves all conflict in the plot. (It gets really sickening after a while.) Finally, as I said in another thread, much much less of the Doctor solving problems by RUNNING! AROUND! AND! SHOUTING!!!

Daleks, less River Song (but the occasional episode with her not knowing the Doctor that well might be nice), some more old Doctor Who villains like the sontarans (spelling?) etc. Also a new companion would be nice, maybe a guy for a change, to see how the character reacts to a male companion rather than a female one or male and female like Rory and Amy (except without the immediate romantic subplot, just two people who may or may not become involved).

Well i would like to see NO Deus ex machina or 'the power of (insert emotion)'. Seriously it's such weak writing when you overcome an antagonist with love, faith, belife, hope.

You know what i really want to see, those space marine guys in the christmas episode, why couldn't we see more Bill Bailey the SPACE MARINE. Also i do not want to see any more damn children in dr who, they always come off as pestering to me.

I would also like to see the writers expand on diffrent groups and races in dr who, actually give them a history.

Additionly Dr Who needs more lovecraft, all sci fi needs lovecraftian horror. Speaking of which from "the satan pit" and "the end of days" (from touchwood) dr who seems to imply demons exist but has yet to expand on this.

And the "great human empire/goldenage" needs to be expanded as well, it's been mentioned but i would like to see more of this.

No more drama about how the doctor is maybe gonna die, because we all know he's not gonna die, build the death drama around the companions or characters from that episode, also no more River Song.

Again, no more River Song. Also? No more 11th Doctor, no more Amy, and no more Steven Bloody Moffat. By a fluke the man wrote a few good episodes, and now they've left him in charge he's ruined the whole bloody thing. I mean, the man can't even keep the bits of canon that he wrote straight (see, for example, Flesh and Stone/Forest of the Dead, in which the Weeping Angels are able to control turning to stone and continue moving while looking at each other).

They can keep Rory, though. He's pretty awesome.

Thats why the Master was created in the first place. So that the Doctor would have a bad guy as smart as him. And if I remember correctly only Time Lords can use a Tardis. Its some sort of symbiotic thing. They literally cannot go anywere without one.

I also agree with what others have been saying about Jack. Need alot more of him.

I agree. Bring Jack back, more Rory, less (not none, but less) River Song. She wasn't too irritating to me until she made the TARDIS run silently because "the handbrake was on". Bring the Master back.

Most importantly? Have exploring space and seeing the universe. More science fiction, less technology = magical force.

River reduced to a background role, I don't mind her appering but I think the majority her story has been wrapped up now so no more big revelations about her.

A Dalek story featuring the old RTD era daleks destroying the multicoloured paradigm daleks.

Amy and Rory's travels with the Doctor ending without them dying and a new compainion coming in.

Neil Gaiman to write another episode (The Doctor's Wife was the Best episode this year)

Less arc dependent.

You know what I'd like to see? A legitimate and definitive ending with respectable closure encompassing all the doctors adventures. Honestly that would be nice.

And of course this. I want this a million billion times over.

More Rory. Don't care about Karen Gillan leaving but I would love if they kept Rory, not that they will, bar cameos.
I would love to see more new villains rather than just recycling the old ones, no matter how great they are.
New season villains, minor ones too. No daleks, cyber men or weeping angels would be nice for one season.

All of these are freakin' brilliant. Especially the Dalek bit. I don't know about you guys, but I really don't like their design or voice at all.

I kind of want to see Matt leave the show. He's good and all, but sometimes he just doesn't really feel like the Doctor. They seem to write his conflicts with the Daleks and Cybermen as very... non-confrontational. Like neither of them are much of a threat. Has the Eleventh ever actually fought them? Will he ever actually fight them?

Though, it would be interesting to see how he handles the Master.

I'd also like more Time War-related stuff.

Decent writing. No more bringing back old monsters/characters, only for them to be exactly the way they weren't in the original.

The Doctor acting in a sensible way for once...he can be zany if he wants, but not massively incompetent.

No Deus Ex Machina endings.

No more soap opera.

Explanation, or at least acknowledgement of the weird stuff that goes on, rather than it being dropped after 5 minutes to be replaced by something else.

...

I guess it all boils down to Doctor Who being more like Doctor Who, and less like a crap soap opera with bad jokes, too much CGI and a reliance on everyone being painfully stupid for what passes for a plot to work.
