As some of you may know, last night a friend of mine dared me to to pretend to have a Cajun accent. Apparently you guys don't like that. I understand. But it doesn't change the fact that I WANT ONE! I've been reading comics since I was five years old, and Gambit was always my favorite X-Man. As such, I've been trying to perfect one since I was about 7. I'm almost 18. That means I've been working on it for almost a decade!

So here is my question: If a government agent/alien/deity/talking moose comes up to you on the street and says he will give you anything you want excluding world peace, money, power, or drugs, what would you ask for?

For me, it would be a flawless Cajun accent, the only accent I can't pull off.
Ah, vous ettes cette personne!

Moi? Je veux parler couramment en français. Sore de, boku no nihongo ga perapera ni naritai desu.
Wait, you want to learn how to speak French and Japanese? You just did!
Not fluently, though. I've forgotten most of my French by now, and I still have a ways to go with Japanese.

Whatever I wanted.
/facepalm.

For me:
The ability to succeed at everything I did. I'm not saying the power to just instantly achieve something, that would be shitty. But the willpower and drive to actually work for it and actually be able to do it...

One of two things:

A transport back to when I was 18 with all the thoughts/memories I have now...
Knowing who the "love" of my life is, and where they are.

(Corny, I know.)

The ability to speak Italian. It doesn't matter what I'd say, if you say anything in Italian slowly, it's sexy. Also, I'd want an Australian accent. I'll trade it for a Canadian one, if anyone's interested. It's a nice, TV news sounding Toronto accent. Hugh Jackman? You're always playing Wolverine, let's trade.

This. oh and:

I like the way that they walk
And it's chill to hear them talk
And I can always make them smile
From White Castle to the Nile
Oh, thanks, you guys. Now I've got that song stuck in my head.

To answer the OP, I want to be white, and to be able to speak fluent Japanese. Oh, and to have Flash on my computer so I can get into animating.

I want a colossal squid that can move on land. That way I could ride it and terrorize the town.

That is a great answer. Not the love of your life one, but the going back to being 18 with the knowledge you have now one. I like it, I want that one with the ability to sound like Christopher Walken. What can I say, I think his voice is bad ass.

You know how big of a pain animation is?

You have to edit each frame individually so the animation flows smoothly. Most of it has to be done by hand. In complex animations, it can take dozens of frames to do an incredibly simple motion.

I suggest taking an animation class before trying it.

I would 'wish' for another 10 more wishes.

Then every time I used them all except one. Wish for another ten. ;)

But right now. I'm feeling a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk.

I know how hard animation is, I've tried it before with less-than-stellar results. I don't really know of any classes I can take, but as they say, you learn by doing, and having Flash on my computer would definitely help with that.

Well it's always good to have a goal. It would just be a shame if you sunk all that money into a program and couldn't use it.

Ability to astral project at will.

Imagine this: You get bored during a class/seminar/night/whatever, so you separate from your body and go fly around for a bit, and come back just in time to wake up and go onto whatever else needs to be done.
