What does Christmas mean to you?

I was just thinking randomly( as all my thoughts are) what is the view of Christmas over seas. To me, Christmas is a healthy mix of family, freinds and alchohol and I was wondering, what would be your view on the holiday?

Even though I'm Christian, Christmas for us is just a time to give presents and spend time with family.

Catch up on all the games I've bought in the Fall, but couldn't play because of deadlines (only having: study, work, Skyrim and ponies has been pushing my schedules to the edge of feasability)

Hanging out with friends and family during the whole giving of gifts portion of the morning. After that, it's going through my game backlog and alcohol.

Although it has now been a new tradition to play Rock Band with said friends while drinking, so that might happen again.

Family time, free time, good food, snow, the warm fireplace, classic movies, decorations with my favorite colors, our hilarious Christmas tree so weighed down with ornaments on the side not facing the wall that it leans...good times.

Hopefully free food, rest, some money and forcing emotion with the fuckers that are my family.

It means taking extra special care to avoid everyone, staying in my room and playing games until it's over.

In Sweden it's all about alcohol and Donald Duck.
Every year, since the past 50 years or something, the entire population of Sweden sits down and watches a Disney Christmas special. Those who don't are blasphemers!

I'm not religious, so I can forget about Jesus.
I'm not stupid, so I can forget about Santa Claus.

As for turkey, snow, songs and alcohol, screw those things because none of them interests me the slightest, even in December.

For myself, it's all about getting those presents and money from relatives.
The only thing I appreciate on Christmas is getting those gifts. Call me selfish if you want but they're just giving me them regardless if I asked for it or not.
