Apparently he is me, and I'm a bean :D

User: Hi I'm Alex Mitu, what do you think of me?

Bot: Hi, I'm Alex himself.

User: Houston, we got identity theft in progress

Bot: Why?

User: Why not?

Bot: Because you're a pinto bean.

Actually, it isn't. Cleverbot is an AI that learns by observing conversations between you and itself. It records people's responses to it's questions, and then parrots those responses when it hears the same or virtually similar phrase that it was previously asked. Unfortunately, a lot of the people on the internet are dicks, so the crap that comes out is the crap that someone else put in. Quite humourous in a way.
Are you completely certain of this? Because from all the conversations on this thread , you can clearly see where users (allegedly) are being switched :/

Otherwise, well... gosh darn that's a clever bot and/or I'm a stupid human.

I'd like to see it's source code. :)

I would too. But it's not a case of users being switched - when cleverbot does not have an appropriate response, it picks a random one, which is why is sometimes spouts gibberish. Cleverbot itself has no understanding of the content or context of the conversations it is observing, it just records that after something like "How are you?" most people respond "I'm fine. And you?"

Of course, on the internet, if someone says "How are you?", you are just as likely to get "Screw you, n00b!" and therefore, Cleverbot is learning this as well. So half the time Cleverbot is normal, and the rest of the time Cleverbot is an internet jerk.

You can do this, simply buy using the two options next to throughs so far. The first makes cleverot produce another response based on his previoys response (it's the "Think About It" button") and gives you some of cleverbots internal musing - it's a conversation with itself as itself.

The second option is the "Think for me!" button which turns cleverbot's last response into your response, and prompts Cleverbot to respond to it as if you had responded in such a way. Thus, you can get Cleverbot to talk to itself as if it was two different people. These can be quite inane, and mostly result in Cleverbot hitting on itself - so we can see why most people would use cleverbot. Cleverbot is going to be Sexchatbot within a year at this rate!

Cleverbot thinks I'm fun.
It also thinks I stole the cookies from the cookie jar.
