What does family mean to you?

I'm quite close to everyone in my family. My family on both sides contains a shit ton of cousins and I have a lot of aunts and uncles and whats great is that no one is seperated and everyone pretty much gets along and see's eachother.

My siblings apart from my brother can be annoying sometimes as can anybodies but they're still great and i'm such a mummy's boy .

Not much at all being in a single parent family with only half siblings that live with their father and a family that doesn't talk much o each other with no real rift causing it either. We're content but don't have that whole reunion and meet up BS constantly.

My family is a bunch of people who like to get together, drink, and have fun. Well, my mom's side. My dad's side is split into two factions, conceited and white trash. My family is stuck in the middle since we talk to both, though the conceited side does not approve.

Family to me is anyone I trust my life with (not that I have to) or am related to by blood.

For example, my brother in law is a great guy and he has a lot of similar interests to myself and we get along pretty well. I can go to him for advice (which is rare for me) because of our similar interests, the fact we both put up with my bossy and crazy older sister and because of that, I see him as the older brother I never had.
