For beer, Guinness. I can barely drink any other beer, except ones that taste very similarly to Guinness. For shots, I can drink most (it's shots after all, just "down it goes"), but I do prefer Minttu or Jägermeister. For drinks.. I don't really do that much, but White Russian is like candy to me (for better or worse

)

I'm probably one of the VERY few 18-year olds that hates alcohol. ANY. Beer? UGH the smell. Vodka? GAH MY THROAT! The closest thing to tolerating beverages is eggnog, and even that in very low concentrations. VERY low. Last time my parents went to my cousin's bakery during holidays, they bought their trademarked donuts with eggnog. I ate half. One half of one donut. Almost threw up anyway.
I think to some, alcohol is actually an acquired taste. I really hated any type of beer at first, but then I came to like Guinness, then beers similar to Guinness, and you start getting less picky. Vodka I can admit I don't like that much (except in White Russian, but the milk and the Kahlua pretty much "takes over).
I guess the thing to consider is whether you actually WANT to acquire the liking for it.
