I am surprisingly proud of my avatar, its a picture i drew of sonic for my girlfriend. I know that it doesn't look incredibly good either, its just that i can't draw for shit so i felt way too proud of myself after i did it. Is there anything about your avatar that's special or means a lot to you or did you just find it on the internet and think it was cool?

I found mine on the internet and thought it was cool. But I thought it was cool because Spaceballs is a great movie.

No more reason is needed. There's nothing sentimental to it, just straight up chuckles.

Eh, my avatar is special to me. It is unique, for a start :3
My favourite character from m favourite animé, and we act the same, for the most part :3
I've had this as my avatar for so long now...
Oh, and I resized it and added the Escapist 'e', so I put some effort into it (Although not much >.>).

My avatar doesn't mean overmuch - it's simply a symbol of Her Holiness, The Invisible Pink Unicorn - but the clean shape and simplicity of the design appeal to my sense of aesthetics.

That and I like unicorns. 2nd best of all animals.

My avatar says 'I like zombieland'

but I am sure that I will keep changing it around every now and again until I find one that suits me, and that I like.

Mine shows people one of my interests, and tells them some things about me. And it's just so cute.

Mine is a picture of my character from Star Trek Online. I tried several times to find a persona I liked, and he was the best of them.

ooooh! It's a unicorn! I always thought it was a guy with huge eyebrows. The unicorns nose was the side of his face, and the line below the left eyebrow is where the neck meets the head.

An interesting question. I've been asked what my Avatar is, where it came from, why did I pick it, but not what it means to me. It's come to be sort of my Identity on the escapist since I got it. The thing is the file is too big to fit under the new size limits so I cannot change it without losing the ability to change it back. That means no more seasonal variations. I feel attached to it, and would be upset if the tech guys decided to remove all large AVs.

I also like it because it's sufficiently abstract to be open for interpretation :)
