I have a huge obsidian fortress in the nether surrounded by lava with spawner's inside so during a multiplayer game I can watch adventurers die trying to get to me.

That I'm a pragmatist. I just build a little cottage close to a mine and whatever project I'm working out, currently a big submarine. This one has a roof garden though, it was a nice touch and I need some sugarcane for books anyway. Some grain for bread too, can't be too careful when mining.

i have a huge nazi-like fortress with castles and watchtowers around and on top of it.
underneath there are literally THOUSANDS of tunnels. The longest one took me about 6 minutes just from one end to the other.

i think this means i need to get some fresh air and that i want to rule the world.

That I'm very indecisive. I had three different bases that I tried to build including an under water base and I never finished any. Then I had the good fortune of finding out that the fire physics are very dodgey inside my wooden house...

Since I build huge castles I'm gonna say I like feeling secure. Or I'm compensating for somthing.

Welp the only version of Minecraft I can play at the moment is the demo so apart from the bases I built in the side of mountains whilst looking for a good mining location I guess all I've been doing is digging down... "Gotta Dig!"

All of my mines are connected to a central hub of my house. Every hallway is a square 3x3 tunnel, with walls made of only smooth stone, and torches places exactly every 6 blocks, on both sides. I have a store room with a double chest for each item, labeled with a sign. My vertical mineshaft is 9x9 with a glass floor and ceiling to let sunlight in, and new floors every 10 blocks.

So um... Precise maybe?

Well my main base (which is in a save i haven't touched in a month) consists of a huge castle with tunnels all under it and over the castle i have a floating gold island.... Just 'cause it was kinda cool and i had no idea to do with all the gold i had. Also i remember building a recreation of my room, don't think it ended well.

This pretty much sums up what my Minecraft Bunker/Doom Fortress says about me.

My massive wall of cobblestone, ranging from 5 to greater than 40 tall says that I do not want things spawning inside my city.

CAPTCHA: Nionsion LIMITS.

Actaully I think I'm going to start calling it that now, thank you Captcha.

My current Base of operations is built into a floating island, glass bottomed basement , watch tower on top, bridges connecting me to the near-by mountain regions, mines built all through them, tunnels leading me to the neighbouring biomes.

I guess I just like having accessibility to my acquisitions... In the sky.

Hmm, ATM I have two:

One is a bog standard two story house with a bed, furnace, storage and a workbench. Probably 9x9, made of cobble with wood floor and a glass roof. This is so bland because it is really close to a large Graeco-Roman temple on the top of a hill, with smooth stone, wool, cobble and mossy cobble all used in it's construction for the 'frescoes', roof, columns etc. etc.. Inside is a portal to the Nether and also a massive torch covered back wall. Underneath the temple is a little 'hellish room' with lava flows and burning Netherrack.

My other house is a three story, luxurious house, with a large fancy basement with a mini museum (stands for iron, diamond and gold blocks and a cake), a large store room joined on to it by a passage, a mezzanine floor overlooking my living room with a bedroom on it. In the living room is some carpet art, titled 'Red vs Blue' it is a 4x4 square with two edges blue of different hues and two red edges of different hues. In the middle is two purple blocks and two grey blocks (guess what that's from). On the roof is a little swimming pool with a diving board and a boat.

Oh yeah, the whole thing is floating off the side of a cliff, joined to the mainland by a 5 across bridge: the basement floor and walls are made of glass.

I guess it shows that I am taking Classics and History for GCSE, I like building relatively unorthadoxly and always think of defence first (the temple and house are both well lit, with safe rooms and only one real way in).

On most of my worlds I build a "Useful" temporary house to act as a base while I gather enough materials to build something better. The temporary house is still fully functional, its just rather ugly.

It always has 5 rooms
1. Entrance hall / Crafting room
2. Display room that connects to all other rooms
3. Indoor strip mine
4. Storage Room
5. Entrance to fast travel network (Underground roads, rail or canals)

I think this says that I like to be organized.

I also spend a large amount of time constructing multi-story supply depot buildings, with at least a double chest for every object in the game.

Also sometimes instead of building separate buildings I just constantly expand my existing building moonbase style, using glass or cobblestone tunnels to connect buildings.

Great ideas but zero dedication.

My underwater base made of glass still isn't finished and I don't intend to get back to it.
