What does your movie collection say about you?

I like anime and comedy:
Princess Mononoke, Nausica and the Valley of the Wind, Spirit, Across the Universe, Beavis and Butthead do America, Kung Pow, Spaceballs, Airplane, Idiocracy and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Also if you count TV as movies: FMA, Azumanga Daioh, and Kyou Kara Maoh.

My collection says, "I own a Blu-Ray Player and I use it."

It would take far, far too long to list all the movies off. However, most prominently displayed on my shelf are the Lord of the Rings extended cuts, a metric butt-load of pre-1950s film noir films, as well as other classic films from the '30s and early '40s, and many, many martial arts films - most notably all of Tony Jaa's starring roles. And everything in between.

Um...I blind buy the vast majority of my collection. Of the ones I've watched so far...I pick pretty good movies, generally. But then again, I go by films that I believe will interest me, and therefore end up with more good films than bad.

And I have over 260 DVDs right now, so I'm not going to order them or list them. I'll say that I probably have about a 3:1 split in terms of films I've liked vs. ones I haven't.

cowboy bebop, ghost in the shell, transformers. all animated. so, i think that says i enjoy anime and old cartoons, i have little to no money, and i hate movies. so, that works.

Mine says: Holy hell, this person loves movies and apparently has every horror film in existence or is trying to get them.

The last time I counted two years ago, I had around 300+ DVDs.

I suppose it mean I enjoy a mix range of films although I think I got more comedy dvds. Also I haven't got that much moderm dvds since I can't afford a new ones unless I really wat it. (I also got way too many anime dvds and other animated show like Batman TAS).

My collection says that I prefer drama and action movies over comedies. And of the Comedies that I do enjoy I prefer dark/black comedies (movies like Hot Fuzz, 8 Heads in a Dufflebag and the like) though I do enjoy the occasional feel-good/romantic comedy from time to time.

I have a lot of movies in my house, but the majority aren't mine. The ones I own are: 28 Days Later, The Godfather part one and two, and Inglourious Basterds. That may be because I have Netflix.

Mine probably says that I love animated films, but also enjoy sci-fi and pretty ones. (I'm not near my collection, but quite a few of them are animated, such as Bolt, Balto, Great Mouse Detective, and Kung Fu Panda)
