What does "your" Tali look like ?

I kinda like how thay had tali look in the game, except for the lazy photoshop bullshit.

Frankly I never imagined her with hair, every other race except humans are bald, they might have something like hair, but humans are the only ones with it.

Okay, that was pretty damn funny.

My mind's eye always imagined Tali being very pale, with almost translucent skin since her kind gets almost no contact with the sun. If she had hair (and I'm inclined to think she wouldn't since hair gets in the way of having an air-tight suit) it would be very thin and probably shaved down to almost nothing. The skin color may or may not have a purple tinge (but that's only because that's the color of her suit and it sticks with me), and her eyes would probably be larger than a humans, and able to cope with wearing the lens of her mask all the time.

Not bikini-babe sexy, but definitely someone you'd be quite comfortable with giving a big hug. Yes, I'm being cutesy, shut up man, I saw her as a sister for crying out loud. The less sexualized they make her the happier I am.

You see enough through the mask to get the impression of something basically human. I was mostly alright with the photo they ended up using. I really couldn't care less that it was derived from a stock photo but giving her long hair doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm not even sure if there's enough volume for long hair in that helmet, plus I figured if quarians ever had hair, I figure it'd be hard to care for without taking off the environment suit so I expected any hair she actually HAD to be kind of brittle and unhealthy.

Frankly, I expected tendrils of some kind in place of hair, something like this http://www.wildlife-fantasy.com/artwork/alienist.php (Be warned, its a little racy, nothing pornographic, but still)

Mass Effect has always had some pretty excellent creature design, aliens that look diverse and interesting without being ugly so I was kind of disappointed that Tali was just a purple woman with glowey eyes.
