Nothing at all. I used to spend a lot of time playing Oblivion and it's got wasd controls, so when I was thinking of a username it came easily and sounded suitably odd. I later noticed that backwards it spells redsaw, which is really rather cool.
I am slightly Irish ( 1/8 I think ) but my sister has a common name ( Georgia )Nerdfury said:Are you actually Irish or did your parents just think it sounded suitably unusual like parents seem to strive for these days?Ciarang said:Bah, you caught me unawares >_<, I always got mixed up between irish and celticNerdfury said:Wrong! Ciarán is an Irish name meaning 'Little Dark One.' Originally a nickname for a dark-haired person. As a saint's name (Saint Ciaran of Clonmacnoise (Kieran the Younger) 516-549), it was too holy for everyday use, so was replaced with names like 'Gilla Ciaran' or 'Mael Ciaran' meaning 'Devoted to St. Ciaran' and 'Servant of St. Ciaran.'Ciarang said:Thanks :3The infamous SCAMola said:Ciaran? That's an unsual name.
Its the old celtic way of spelling kieran
And now you know.
