Crawford Tillenghast. Character from a story by H.P Lovecraft. The man is a recluse who invents a device which allows him to unlock senses from man's early evolutionary states. He starts seeing giant multi-colored jellyfish and horrifying monsters, goes totally insane, and then invites his buddy over for shits and giggles over tea, I guess.
Anyway, while scaring the living daylights out of his friend, he has a seizure and gets shot in the stomach. I thought his name was badass, so I decided it should be my username. It felt a bit too long, so I shortened it to "Crowghast". (I figured "Crawford" should be pronounced "Crowford".)

My username is the best description of the Imperial Lasgun from Warhammer 40,000. It's funny because it's true.
I had a bad relationship a while back, wherein i was essentially a Mushroom (grown best when kept in the dark and fed bullshit) but the word shroom grew on me, as for Doughkid, i just had the work doughboy caught in my head, replaced boy with kid and there we go.
