I found that since I can do a lot of the day to day social interactions and dungeon crawling in Persona 4 without having to give it my full attention all the time. As such I have begun to use this time to catch up on all the podcasts I would like to listen to, but generally don't have the time to give my full attention to.

So what do you during games, if you have the skill to multitask?

When I used to play WoW I'd read or play another game during long flights and just recendly I've gotten into the habit of flipping records over in the middle of Oblivon if I'm travelling over large distances (fast travel is for suckers).

Also I frequently get people walk into the room so I have to talk and play and sometimes watch a video on the Escapist at the same time. Too much information, I have to block one of those things out... guess which one :3

I'm one of the few people who actually read all the codex entries, in-game books, and other non-voiced bits of text in RPGs. Consequently, I often have lunch while catching up on the fictional history of various fantasy and science-fiction worlds. Bioware games and Morrowind are both excellent for that.

Listen to music. Always.
I even have playlists for certain games like Western-only for RDR and stuff.

Only thing I do is eat. Favorite game food is Oreos. They don't leave anything on your fingers like Doritos do, so I don't have to worry about my controller getting dirty.

I Watch TV, sometimes listen to music and I will sometimes eat. Sometimes I will talk on the phone but only if the game's story and dialogue is not a major part or really important.

Not sure what they make Oreos out of in Yankie land (you guys always have more sugary chocolate, with less cocoa content and less milk) but ours turn your tongue black and leave a black residue all over your fingers.

I listen to music often enough, or I read a book during ridiculously long loading times. I read 1984 during a Freelancer playthrough because of the long uneventful flight times.

Sometimes I play multiple games at the same time, like auto-leveling FFXII while playing Rome: Total War. Or I watch/listen to a movie while grinding.

Oh, and food of course.

Currently I'm playing Pokemon Black, so I usually have the TV on and/or have conversations while I play (especially since what I'm doing at the most is just level-grinding for the halibut (heh). When I'm playing a console game, like the Fallouts or Mass Effects, my friend and I tend to have MST3K type banter making light of the game and/or my current level of incompetence playing it

While I am waiting in the Elavators in Mass Effect, the loading time in ME:2, DA:O, DA:II, or just waiting for a Cutscene to end, I do Sudoku puzzles on my iPhone. So far, I have done 521.

I have two TVs in my room so I can play gamecube/playstation or watch TV, or do two of those at a time while playing Pokemon on my DS and listening to music. Yeah, I can play three games at once.

Since I have two computers next to each other, I post on the Escapist.

In fact, my other computer has Fallout 3 running right now.

Keep my tech support system up while I game. Otherwise, I multitask into doing homework, listening to my weekly podcasts, checking the weather conditions (budding meteorologist here) or posting online.

I like to take my computer out to the living room and turn my TV on. I don't know why, I just like some background noise.
