#2: I found it very very boring.. even when I was plowing through stuff
#1: My best friend can never hang out anymore because he always has raids to do
Idk if this still applys but I stopped playing I think its been almost a year, I was max level, and geared from Naxarramas but not really doing ulduar tried it a bit but it just seemed more of the same, it got boring and tedious and the new content just seemed more and more generic, tried getting into the new patch which was call of the crusade I think but then I saw the armor sets and and weapons and decided not to waste my time, sorry might seem kind of lame but if I'm going to shill out 180 dollars and give up my time to play a dungeon and get generic brown weapons and gear, no drive, you couldn't even pvp with them you had to grind away hours pvping on battle fields to get the same gear but a different color.
I played it at a friend's house for a few minutes, and the combat was SHIT! The animations sucked, it was unresponsive, and the only interaction was selecting and enemy and how you wanted to stick you sword into it, which you just clicked. Bleh.

I'm not shoving it back. I'm defending WoW. There's a difference. I wouldn't open a thread demanding to know why everyone hates it so much if I wasn't prepared to back myself up.
If you can give me evidence that Blizzard designed the game purposefully to do so, and this isn't just a side effect of entirely innocent gameplay mechanics, then you will have earned the Decepticon you grace your name with.
I'll give you one, around lvl 14 (for all Races) they've purposely placed the mount vendor in the area you quest in, to show you what you can get if you stick at it. Good for trying to get those trial accounts to give them money.

The answer you were looking, as others may want a different answer. Most people have already expressed why they think that WoW isn't good. Honestly it is only an opinion, and none of them apply to every player. If you need proof look at the diversity of games and other entertainment media. Different things suit different people.
I'm not saying people who don't like it are wrong. I'm saying people who contribute to 'WoW Player Advice' threads with posts like 'quit', or 'run from it like the plague' have at least got to justify themselves.
I can't stand Too Human, as my review subtly hinted, but I wouldn't ever shout that it was awful and that everyone should boycott it. That's what I'm trying to tackle here.

I understand that much, but you will be hard pressed to solve that if you do the similar approach that they take and simply state they are wrong or why you think that isn't true. Maybe you could just have someone tell you in depth what they personally thought made it bad. This would especially be true for those who claim the game stole their buddies from them.
I won't state that they are wrong unless I have something to back myself up with. I'm doing this with the mindset that I want to be convinced of their side. I don't see the 'it stole my buddies' argument as a valid one, because that can happen with anything. Too much of anything is bad, and yes, people can completely lose themselves and the people around them to it. That doesn't make the thing in question necessarily evil, it just means it ought to be taken in moderation, as is the case with practically everything in this world.
You think it looks realistic? I think it looks like a cartoon.
On topic. I haven't played it but looking at this,
I instantly see 80 odd boxes round the screen, which makes me think "I will need about 10 hands just to use all those (I am assuming) powers then an extra hand to move".
Like I said before, the graphics make me think bugs bunny is going to be lurking around somewhere. I am not usually a stickler for graphics, I just prefer realistic looking ones.
Off topic, but I'll say the people themselves are pretty interesting especially when "trade chat wars" start. I've had some really funny moments when people stir up drama in a video game.
O.T People can be fun, but definitely can be assholes. If say you are in a hardcore guild and someone gets pissed, they can drop the game at the blink of an eye and you get to search for someone to fill that spot. Also, if you have a guild that farms endgame content, it's really annoying when you have to do it every week just so you can get other people gear or get some badges. Plus they nerf something almost every week because people whine about it being "too hard." Most instances nowadays don't really have some super unique fight that takes ages to learn, correct me if I'm wrong. Usually they have a special ability or two, minus the final boss, and usually comes with a timer.
