coca cola used to have coca leaves in it. cocaine is, as is hinted at by the name, made from coca leaves. coca cola used to have the base ingredient for cocaine in it.

similarly, apparently if you eat a poppy seed roll you'll fail a drugs test if you take one the next day. although i doubt that one

Urine is safe to drink, but not frequently. It does contain toxins, which is why your body disposes of it in the first place, and it does not hydrate you very well. In fact, if your urine contains a high salt content, it could dehydrate you. The general rule is that, if you are going to drink it at all (which you should not if it is avoidable), do not drink it more than three times per week, or once a day at most.

...I'm sorry to say this, but after reading your post, I must ask, do you drink urine? Or use it as a mouthwash? Because that is gross.

huh, i always figured that it was the tar and general crap used to keep tobacco from burning too quickly that caused cancer and throat cilia damage. either way it doesn't make a blind bit of difference, because people are still gonna smoke. and if they ban it? it's an addictive substance, so people are still gonna want that white stick burning, and WILL have their way if the government decides to outright ban it. Also your carcinogen argument was correct, according to some further research.
I guess I was wrong, thanks for the correction. I'm still gonna hit up my bong when I get the chance though

I've chewed on coca leaves in Peru with the natives. Pretty neat, but certainly not as altering as something like cocaine (though I have not tried it).

that morphine, used frequently as a painkiller, is the pure form of heroin. seriously. also how would cocaine STOP your nose from bleeding? :S
also (more drug related stuff) why tobacco, known to cause lung, throat and mouth cancers is readily available in shops, but marajuana, a completely harmless substance, is an illegal drug. also alcohol... what the hell? that kills thousands of people a year (never stopped me though ). It turns out one of the main reasons marajuana was banned in the UK was because it wasn't easy to control its production, because it grows naturally in our climate. huh. (also the paranoia risk, but mainly the first reason)
