Im sure urine has urea in it made from amino acids and im sure urea is toxic to the inside of ur body , but its good for your skin

You can drink your urine in dire circumstances, to save your water. But most of urine are liquid wastes your body is getting rid of. Doing it to much puts a hurt on your body, because the kidneys have to work harder because you are basically having your body go through the excretion process twice or more.

also (more drug related stuff) why tobacco, known to cause lung, throat and mouth cancers is readily available in shops, but marajuana, a completely harmless substance, is an illegal drug. also alcohol... what the hell? that kills thousands of people a year (never stopped me though ). It turns out one of the main reasons marajuana was banned in the UK was because it wasn't easy to control its production, because it grows naturally in our climate. huh. (also the paranoia risk, but mainly the first reason)

Urine is safe to drink, but not frequently. It does contain toxins, which is why your body disposes of it in the first place, and it does not hydrate you very well. In fact, if your urine contains a high salt content, it could dehydrate you. The general rule is that, if you are going to drink it at all (which you should not if it is avoidable), do not drink it more than three times per week, or once a day at most.

...I'm sorry to say this, but after reading your post, I must ask, do you drink urine? Or use it as a mouthwash? Because that is gross.

Urine CAN be harmful and contain live bacteria or even viruses, but only if produced by a diseased person.

This didn't shock me much, but it shocks and scares a lot of people I know: Bricks produced in Colorado (and some other places) have trace amounts of Uranium. Our building at college was entirely brick, so, being the physics department, we made use of the Uranium content to calibrate our detectors... A lot of people I tell this to think we should be a lot more concerned about our "radioactive" building, but I tell them you should probably trust the opinions of the guys who work in radiation labs 8 hours a day.
