Loner eh?
Me too sometimes.

OP: But when I am feeling social, I usually don't let them know to much about myself.

I like to keep it..... Mysterious.

That I've lost 70 pounds in the past 6 months. I'm self conscience about my weight so I bring it up mostly to assure myself that I wont look this way forever.

You have to bring up selling points about yourself. Otherwise the conversation will be entirely about the other person or the weather and one sided conversations grow boring VERY fast

I try to do this, I really do, but it always sounds incredibly arrogant when I do it, so I don't do it unless people specifically ask for it.

I have been on TV a couple of times, so that's a good one, assuming they ask me, because if I just go "Hey, I've been on TV!" I just sound like a massive egotist.
Really! When and where?

OT: Hmmm, gotta think about his for a sec... I like maths and physics, and games(optional), and to go to the theatre and (or) movies.

Usually the first things that come up are
- No I'm not American, I'm Irish, actual Irish too not an American pretending I'm Irish. (I've picked up a slight American accent working with so many Scandinavians, they tend to sound quite American when speaking English)
-I work for a Games Company doing translation and customer support

People generally bond over nationality and their jobs for some reason.

Studied Philosophy, worked as an extra on a long-running soap several times, qualified English-as-a-Foreign-Language teacher.

If they ask.

Most of the time I'm far more interested in listening to other people talk about themselves than I am in talking about myself, so I try to steer the conversation back to them if I can help it.

When I meet someone new, I explain to them that I have brain damage, and if my face seems to be making weird expressions, ignore them, and if I seem to zone off, kick me, don't take offense because its my brain's fault, not theirs.

Yeah I used to have that mentality myself. Keep it... Mysterious. Problem is, to be mysterious people actually have to give a fuc aboutk. Or else you just come of as a attention seeking dick. So it's better to just not bother. And when the fuck is Saint's Row 3 coming out! Ghaaaah!

Yea, true that. I don't want to come off as an Emo.

And Saints Row 3 doesn't look to good.
It was announced, but it was also announced that the series is going to stop with the silly, over-the-top tone for a more serious gritty one.

And it has 50 cent in it.

Fuck.

I mention that I'm about three years away from becoming a CPA, that I produce radio plays for a station that's going live in three weeks, and that I was born and raised in Boston (I live about 3,000 miles from home right now.)

I've drawn a surprising amount of interest from women considering I'm not particularly good-looking nor interesting. I can't imagine how it'll be when I actually have a high-paying job in five years. My life's setting up nicely for a midlife crisis of awesome proportions.

Hahaha my mum was doing this yesterday when she was talking to a family friend who's pretty much a millionaire.
She was trying to brag about how her boyfriends brother is head of IT at London uni and the other one is in the MI5... She has nothing of herself to impress them with.

I don't think I do it. I'm pretty boring an unimpressive, but I might mention a drawing I did or a play I'm in.

I only try to impress when it's a girl. I haven't had to impress one in a while because I've been in a relationship. Though, I like hearing a girl talk more than myself bragging about things. I can't lift three hundred pounds, leap off tall buildings, or drive an expensive car. I have to rely on words.

My friends say the reason why I get girls is because I'm: Asian, play guitar, funny.

My one friend with an actual brain great enough to work in a high-profile pharmacy job at twenty-one says: "You're very charismatic. You also play guitar."

"I was 'Almost' born in Trinadad"
Which always leads to the follow up question... "almost born?"

Medical science sucked in Trinadad so my mum went back to London, to get the pain relief stuff. After a few months we went back.

I don't really have anything to tell people, as I try to keep few people in my "circle of friends".

Here are some 'interesting' facts about me though.

- Played soccer since I was 3
- Have Crohn's, Asthma and Osgood-Schlatter's
- Have a quite large video game collection (212 games)
