What fandom do you think makes the best content?

Touhou. I have a hard time imagining that any other fandom can beat it. It's funny, 'cause I feel that a lot less people know about it than MLP.

Beat me to it. I recently got into the games, but I already knew the music (as well as the ridiculous amount of fan compositions)

The Touhou fanbase is monolithic indeed, and has some great content producers.

So, let's try this again. Try not to argue that much this time, Escapist. I'm going to mention the bad sides of Bronies in my OP, if you don't like them then deal with it and don't reply to me. Seriously guys, I'm making a thread about positive opinions, I reckon if this thread was called "Worst" fandom you would all behave more civily. You guys dissapoint me sometimes...

OT: So, what fandom do you think makes the best fanart/fanfic/fan music/mods/fan games and others. There's a lot to choose from and a LOT of people with time on their hands to use making things based on their favorite game, book, film or TV show.

Personally, I think bronies make the best stuff, mainly because of the sheer amount of amazing stuff we can make in such a short time. The season 2 finale aired with a new villian, next day about 70 pieces of art that were all beautiful of the new villian AND about 10 remixes of the new songs. Sure, we have some bad areas (Cloppers, Gorefics/art and Clopfics), but I think the amount of sheer amazing stuff we make more than makes up for it.

So Escapist, opinions on this question?

GMOD and TES have the best mods, or anything that is not MLP.

Star Wars. Hands down. There have been novels, gorgeous works of art, astonishingly life-like cosplays, wedding cakes, countless hand-made lightsabres, amateur films...

And then there's Wookieepedia. I dread to think how many total hours have gone into that thing.

As I am obligated by pony law, I must put the obvious MLP fandom, but I know that valve fans create some really good stuff.

Ignoring the MLP nature of this thread, I'm going to say the LOTR fans.

Yeah... it's hard, I mean, Ponies have some great things, but Lord of the Rings universe (for lack of a better word) has Blind Guardian backing it...

Halo does a great job, i loved the old redvsblue-streams on Winamp.

If you count destroying shit and ruining other people's good times then team avolition fans. What? they as a fandom are inspired by the source material to replicate it in their own way.

Does VOCALOID count? I mean, technically they're just using the programs, but a lot of the videos made to go along with them are simply beautiful in my opinion. That, and a lot of the Fanart is quite well done.

I mean, this song is amazingly touching, and the video is simple when it comes to animation and wonderful with its art:

Well, considering I just made a post in the pony thread about how I think that the fandom of MLP is one of the main things that keeps me hooked... I guess it's obvious what my vote is.

That being said, I have to give TF2 fans some credit. Also, Kingdom Hearts fans. Some seriously good cosplay going on, and SO many keyblade designs.
