Throughout fiction, many a fantastical and magical world has come into existence. Some of those places are rather idyllic. Which of the numerous fantasy lands would you like to spend a weekend in? This can stretch to any medium: movies, books, games, whatever you like.

I'd like to take a trip to Albion, myself. The world of Fable looks rather nice, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Plus, if I really wanted, I could murder the whole town with a butterknife.

The world of Spira. Just to stand and look at the views...I could do that for ages.

These for sure:
- Corusant
- Sigil from Planescape.
- Azeroth, all of it.
- Middle Earth, especially The Shire and all the elven cities. Also an older version of Middle Earth where I could still visit busy dwarven cities.
- The 12 Colonies from Battlestar Galactica.
- The Citadel from Mass Effect.
- Arkham Asylum
- Ankh-Morpork, heck I'd move to that city and join the City Watch.
- Fallout 3's Washington, but just before the war.

Probably more but that's what I can think of on the top of my head.

Hyrule. It'd be fun to meet Link.
But what would you talk about? I'd think it'd be awkward to have one end of the conversation be grunts and yells.
I'd strike up conversation with Navi. I heard she likes to talk, but it's about the same thing. She also likes to greet people over and over and over and over again.

Well, I see a difference between fantasy and SF, so I'm going to leave off all the space opera settings.

Personally, I'd like to visit the world Elizabeth A. Lynn created in Dragon's Winter. I don't know if she ever gave it a name, but it's a world of swords, sorcery, and shapeshifters. Cool place with a lot of history. Afterwords, I'd pop into the world of A Song of Ice and Fire and try not to get myself killed in all the political backstabbing. Then it's a quick stop to Middle Earth's Rivendell and Lothlorien before heading to Neil Gaiman's London Below.

But then you have to deal with the text boxes, and those things can pile up fast.

Yeah that would be fun...except for the vicious monsters and crazy religious zealots. It would be AWESOME to see a game of Blitzball though.

Cyrodil, who wouldn't want to join the Dark Brotherhood?

Fallout 3. I just love the GNR station playing old music while you look at the destroyed world. It sooths me.
