I actually like the name Leia, so I'd go for it.
My friend has a baby called Eris, which is the name I'd like (Aeris) I'm guessing they're pronounced the same.
There's probably more I like, but it's too early to think ><

Never i'd do such silly thing. It's hurting your child. They will be laughed and mocked at during their school years and most likely will have trouble due to such references throughout their whole life. I consider all the 'fan' names to be nothing more than irresponsible parenting.

Francis(James second choice) for a guy Zoey for a girl(Sonya second choice)That's if I'm forced to give them a fictional character name.(Except for Sonya. LOVE that name.)

The names all chosen are somewhat normal enough for people to not pick on them.

And id be disappointed if you didn't know who Alphonse was...
You mean this guy, right - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonse_Gangitano

I mean, it's not like any fictional character has been named Alphonse before, let alone having the name Alphonse and being a disembodied suit of armour. No siree.

If I was a mean dad I have two boys called Mario and Luigi and FORCE them to be plumbers.
But if I didn't want a quick divorce and permanent family resentment, I'd do what is right and say;
"yes dear that name is a good one."

To whatever strange name she picked.

Roland and Edward for boys, Susannah and Mia for girls. Got a bit of a Dark Tower obsession.

Bob and Mary. Lol.

No, please... I can't laugh at my own given jokes, that's silly.

OT: Sorry, I can only make up ridiculous names at the moment. Vincent and Candy, Stripper and Carlton, Mantreat and Darling.

... I suppose I alone and the one amused.
Personally I think Mantreat is hilarious.

OT: I'd name my kid 'kid' and work out a better definite name to fit his or her personality through the years.

Hmmn..

Twins eh? lots of stories about twins; tragedies, comedies, the works.
Boys; I'd go with the original Gemni, Castor and Pollux
For girls; Hera and Kara, if you want to be truely cruel you could refer to them as Hari-Kari

For a mix; gotta admit, Luke and Leia does work pretty well. There's always the option of just using the feminine/masculine of a name you like. Roy and Riza also seems to have a sort of alchemy.

If I were you though, I'd talk it over with your significant other. Naming kids is really between the parents, it's none of our buisness.
Although we're honored that you'd ask. :)

Personally, I plan to name/call my kids Petra and Flint. Although my son's first name will actually be Frederick(counting in my last name it makes him Fred Flint Stone; although I imagine by the time I have kids people will only know of it as the vitamins).
