Is there a fictional universe that you would just love to live in? If so what ones do you want to be in and why?

If we ignore the whole "near death of the galaxy" thing I'd love to be in Mass Effect's universe. I'd love to be able to interact with other species, serve in a united human military, and just experience the wonders of an entire galaxy. Its also close enough to home that I wouldn't just be a stranger in a strange land.

I'd love to be a commissar in W40K, yeah I'd probably die before I'm 30 but that's just like in real life and at least in W40K I'd be killed serving the Emperor.

I'd divided between Star Trek and The X game series. In Trek I could use the technology readily available to make suuuuuuch a powerful shadow empire that I could spread over most of the galaxy without any of the factions noticing at all. Seriously, not only do they not use their technology to it's potential, they don't bother to map their territory (most of TNG was exploration WITHIN Federation territory).

For the X universe, it's interesting since eventually humanity will join the Ancients and help them work towards perpetuation of life in our universe by either extending the life of the universe, or by leaving the universe for a younger one like the Outsiders may have. Until then it's a nice universe if you ignore the abomination that is Rebirth.

In the skies of arcadia universe. I'd be an awesome air pirate, sailing the world as a blue rogue, I would die a happy, happy person. Even though I've beaten the whole game 100% numerous times, it ended on a note that there was more of the world out there still undiscovered, left you questioning who knows if we truly discovered everything. Only way to find out is to face the unknown, whether it'll lead to your possible death or a mountain of treasure. Or a whole civilization untouched by outsiders. Theres so much mystery and potential.

The best bet is always Pokemon. Even if there're many arguments against it, it's genuinely the one world I used to wish for when I was a kid.

Eclipse Phase would be interesting.

With augmentation and mind uploading, your body could be anything from a biological humanoid, a flying combat robot, a swarm of small machines, an aquatic human-seal hybrid, a space station habitat- or you could just exist as a digital consciousness. You could be male one day, effortlessly transition to a female morph for a while, and then become an intelligent quadrupedal tank. You could split your consciousness between multiple bodies, or have you and your friends share the same body.

Meanwhile, you're chilling with the uplifted animals, exploring virtual worlds, and being a badass adventurer/spy or whatever.

The world of wakfu/dofus (basically the same world just different period in time.)
One of the more interesting worlds, and everyone has powers!

A very close second would be pokemon, if only I could go to both...

The Ghost in the Shell universe sounds really interesting to me. Living in a future age where cybernetics, the internet, and technology as a whole as developed to such a level that it's considered revolutionary by our current standards.

To live in a time when man-kind and technology have fused is pretty scary stuff.

Think about the movie A.I: Artificial Intelligence. If they could make an android that looks so life like that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and real person. Just fucking scary!

I've got to go with the place with the tastiest food, obviously:

And I don't think there's been tastier food put to paper than what you'll find in the world of Redwall. Also, there's talking animals and sword fights and stuff, which is cool. But mostly I want the food.

... And, great, I'm hungry now. I have to go to the kitchen, excuse me.

It's not exactly popular, but I'd take the Dead Space universe. The big bad has died, or at least went dormant again. Human civilization is on the brink of extinction...

But space traveling tech still works and can be fixed with the massive amounts of derelicts floating around. Would be a damn good opportunity to build your own fifedom on some minear rich asteroid.

Shirokuma Cafe. It's pleasant and it's a good place to get some tea or meal. Also for bonus my life is not in danger in anyway unlike the more exciting universe like One Piece or Gundam.

Discworld. Ideally with a job on the City Watch, if at all possible. Don't need to stand out or be a hero, but something where I know I'd be working towards making things livable for the people around me and learning from some of the best-hearted people in any setting.

I'm always torn when I get asked this. I would either be a smuggler in Star Wars, or a trainer in Pokemon. I originally said Firefly, but Star Wars has better tech, and there's very little chance I could become a permanent crew member on Serenity. Although, if I may specify my time, I would like to live in the Old Republic times.

Pokemon, where I live out my days telling fellow trainer the magic behind making their own Secret Base...

Other than that... uh... whichever world Fraggle Rock takes place it, I guess... (And, now I'm thinking of a Attack on Titan/Fraggle Rock crossover for some reason...)

I'd love to go to any of the Naruto/DBZ/FMA/StarWars with magic powers and stuff, but then if that is genrated by random, only like 1% of everyone gets to be what they want, the rest are normal people who only die horribly by bad guys.

So if looking like that, as a few already said, Pokemon is also my answer.
Anyone can be a trainer and the risk of what I mentioned above is at a minial.

Probably Pokemon...
But I wouldn't complain about either....

It definitely has to be Pokemon, I love the setting, the wildlife, the landscape, the modern yet futuristic technology, it just would be my ideal place to live, either that or-
