I have sat through bad movies, but the only movie I walked out on was one I liked. I was with three girls back in High School and we went to William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet (the one with Leo). We didn't know that it was actually going to use the original script in a modern setting. I was a little confused at first, but once I realized what was going on, I felt it was a very interesting, artistic and well made film (hasn't aged well, so if you go see it now, it's very 90's).

Apparently, the girls I was with thought differently and they all wanted to leave. I wasn't going to make them stay, but I did buy it when it came out.

None. I have even survived watching The Room from beginning to end, because it is absolutely fascinating in all the wrong ways. I do not want to do that ever again.

Never walked out on a movie, as I rarely go see movies in a cinema, and those movies are good that I go to see.

I have not been able to watch some movies in the comfort of my home, because they were so bad. The Royal Tenenbaums is one of those.

james camerons avatar and M. Nights shamalamadingdowilly's The last airbender.
why:
Avatar i walked out of because i hated the acting, the story, the fact i was talking down to me in 30 different ways, the fact i was in 3d, the plot holes and because it showed WAY to much male navi ass.

the last airbender was just a giant F-u to the fans of the show (which is awesome) not to mention HORRIBLE direction, acting, plot, amount of redundant exposition, and the fact they couldn't say their names right!

Eragon. Didn't walk out, but didn't watch more than 10 minutes of the movie. What an absolute crock of shit that was.

Also don't recommend me the book please. I don't care how many more times better it is. 143984298 x zero is still zero.

The only one I can think of was Finding Nemo but that was because there was some kind of problem or something so they gave us a refund

I've never walked out on a movie in theaters. I never go on an opening night though, I always wait to read a few reviews first. (Except the Friday the 13th remake, but I liked it)

As for movies I've just stopped and walked away from;

I simply stopped Cannibal Holocaust. I had always heard how great it was...it sucked in my opinion. I made it to the first "live animal kill", it made me sick.

Also stopped Sleepaway Camp 4(?) I think. It was just too bad to enjoy. The kills were fun, but the acting was disgusting.

I've only done it twice. The first was at transformers 2, and the second was at the remake of the stepfather

AVP 2: Requiem.

I was expecting a movie with Aliens. Maybe some Predators. Fighting. Hence the whole "Alien versus Predator" bit of the title.

I wasn't expecting a movie about a bunch of very unlikable, forgettable cardboard-cutout youngsters doing... whatever the hell they were doing. Figured I'd check if they all died within the next 30 minutes or so, but no such luck.

I shut off Scott Pilgrim vs The World within about 20 minutes. What godawful hipster shit that was; trying far, far too hard to represent the zeitgeist.
I'm watching it right now, and enjoying the hell out of it :D

Me and my friends had to walk out of the theater about a half hour into Quantum of Solace. I had never been so bored and un-entertained by a film before, and still haven't to this day.

I've never really walked out of a movie. My opinion is, I spent money on this. I will see it through to the end.

Well, there was that one time I walked out of Secretariat, but I just needed to pace. Comes with ADHD. I went back in in a few minutes.

Wasn't my type of movie anyways.

I would never walk out of a film. It's just a massive waste of money. Besides, I tend to only pay to see movies I really do think I'll enjoy, no matter how bad they actually are (I never listen to critics, and most films that I see that are bad are ones I still enjoy watching, like the Twilight films...). If I don't think I'll enjoy a film but I still want to see it just in case, I'll wait until it's on DVD or on TV and watch it then. So yeah, I've never walked out of a film. Unless I really need the toilet, but I always come back as quickly as I can to avoid missing anything :p.

Wanted to walk out of superhero movie, and I've turned off a couple of rentals like run fat boy run and that awful shymalan movie about The Water or something. For the most part, I have good choice in movies so I don't end up walking out.

None really. Sometimes you need to experience the bad to appreciate the good.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

I've never walked out, though I did seriously consider trying to fall asleep during Black Hawk Down
