What films have you walked out of?

I've never walked out of a movie that was for reasons other than a fault at the cinema (like a busted projector or something). However there are a few movies I've stopped watching that were on tv or dvd because of their awfulness, these bing Juno, I'm not there and arizona dream (God those were shit movies). I'm usually pretty careful about what movies I see and I'm not as critical as others.

all of the seltzerberg movies, transformers revenge of the fallen right after the robo testicles which pulled me out of the black hole of immobility, avatar, resident evil extinction, the expendables, and prince of persia.

The only time ever was The Cook The Thief His Wife and Her Lover, most unpleasent film i've ever seen. The first scene involves Micheal Gambon smearing dog shit on a naked man and pissing on him. It doesn't get better from there, explict nudity abounds... with Helen Mirren. Vomiting on screen, naked people in a truck full of rotting meat. A wife nearly being raped infront of child was a point where I nearly walked out. The child is later tortured and stabbed in the stomach on screen... and thats where I walked out. I actually cried for about 20 minutes, no film has ever done that to me. Apparently theres a scene towards the end involving canibalism thats supposed to be as bad or worse, glad I walked out.

I've got to ask, what the fuck was the point of that movie? Was it just trying to gain publicity by being disgusting? Or did it have a "message" about how terrible rape and murder is? If so, thank you, captain obvious.

I almost walked out of zombieland but I didn't feel like moving so I went to sleep instead and had my buddy wake me when it was over. I did walk out of expendables half way but not because I was bored. my friend was complaining about being hungry and I got tired of hearing it so I said fine lets go get food. He payed for the tickets so i didn't really care.

If I'm gonna pay to see a movie I make damn sure it's a good one, so I've never walked out on one.

Although I have had my family put on a few terrible films for "family time". In that case I walked out on Madagascar 2, Saw V and a few others.

You know, if the movie made you cry that much... maybe that was the point of the experience in the first place. Theatre would be rather dull if it were nothing but comedy all the time. No one remembers ancient Greek comedies, but Greek tragedies are still studied, performed, and taught to this day. I mean, Oedipus Rex even has it's own complex named after it...

I usually have pretty good judgement about the movies I see so I haven't walked out of any. Plus, I never see movies right on the day of their release so there is usually time to read a few reviews beforehand.

Had to walk out of The Butterfly Effect because the parts about sexual abuse upset me. It wasn't scary as such, just hit a nerve for me.

I could not sit through more than half an hour of green zone, just thats not how the army works. Its like watching a film about a taxi driver on a unicycle, sure it is a similar sort of concept, but you've kinda missed the point.

Okay, it's more because I go with my family and walking out would just be rude. So I go to sleep instead.
Cinema chairs can be remarkably comfortable.

I guess if i paid for it, i might as well watch it to the end.
And i tend to do a bit of trailer-watching and review-reading before watching a movie.

I walked out of the begining of fight club, sorry yes I know its an ok movie it's just relative, at the time I was working as an orderly in the cancer wing of the local hospital. So yeah if you remember the scenes I'm talking about I'm sure you can understand where I was coming from when I left the cinema in disgust.

Walked out of The Haunting of Molly Hartley while my friends were still watching. I pretty much just went, "Well, fuck this guys! I'm out!" 45 minutes later, my friends told me the ending. All I can say is I don't regret walking out the theater.

I'm not a person to do this as i genrally have a selective pick of movies, although I did shut off a rent of "The Village." how about you?

I liked "The Village" it was a warped though slow movie lol.

I didnt actually walk out, but I was dozing off during Harry Potter 6. Boy that movie sucked >.< Only a few of the special effects can make up for how cr*p that was. Leaving the screen after, you could hear over 30 people complaining that they wanted their money back and how rubbish it was compared to previous or other movies.... The new one is totally awesome though
