What first got you into gameing?

I wanted to know just what got people into gameing for the first time, was it a family member, a friend or what? For me, I remember my aunt had an snes back when they were still new, and I just loved it. I was about three, and I plan to stay a gamer for as long as I can.

When I was little (4 or 5 years old) I remember a cousin invited me to her home to show me... some games! Then I told mom I had a kick ass time... playing games and then she bought me a NES so I can play games... by myself!

pokemon red and blue version for my 7th birthday, because i was obviously really into pokemon at that point. and after discovering that video games were actually fun, i bought more and more games for my game boy, future consoles, etc.

Grandia 1. See avatar. It was the first RPG I'd ever played, and I was hooked ever since that Playstation Underground demo disc. It's even better than any games in the FF series, imho.

As for the actual question, Sly 2 on the PS2. My parents finally let me get a PS2 when I was like 9 and the first game I played was Sly Cooper 2. That game has a special place in my heart.
