I wanted to know just what got people into gameing for the first time, was it a family member, a friend or what? For me, I remember my aunt had an snes back when they were still new, and I just loved it. I was about three, and I plan to stay a gamer for as long as I can.

My sister had an SNES and kept playing Super Mario Cart and at the time since I wasn't older than 4 years old I thought Mickey Mouse's Magical Adventure would be a great way to kill time. It was and it also killed any chance I had to socialize when people ask me what was your first memory and Mickey Mouse's Magical Adventure keeps popping up.

Played games on the ZX Spectrum from a very young age. All the pretty lights must have done it for me, because here I am to this day, more than 20 years on.

I remeber being so little at the time.

My dad had bought a commador 64 and I remember a game called Turrican that was fairly popular on it. Remember playing that hell of a lot when i was little regardless of how long the thing took to bloody load.

Also remember having an Atari wtih all the old retro games to.
So thats pretty much how i got into gaming.

Playing Sonic at my friends house. Her brother had it and we played it all the time, so I saved up my money and bought an N64 completely against my parents wishes. I probably would have lost interest, being that I was broke after buying the system and beating the only game I had (Mario 64), but my mom caved and bought me Zelda: OoT and I was hooked for life. Still the best game ever and if I need a pick me up I go hook up my old N64 and play it all the way through!

My parents had owned a Commadore 64 and an Atari 2600 before I was born. That's how I got into gaming, used to play on the Commadore a lot until I got my SNES.

My dad bought an nes when I was like 2 years old. I remember putting the zapper as close to the the tv as possible when I played duckhunt. Good times, good times.

My dad's friend had a ps1, and my dad wanted one, but got an N64. I 100% completed super mario 64 when I was 6.

my grandpa actually had one of those old games where you put a game into the slot and then a game with about 54 pixels would start playing

I had a neighbour who was five years older than me and would always pass along copies of games from unknown sources. Looking back on it, he had excellent taste: Civilization, Star Control 2, Baldur's Gate, Mechwarrior 2, Colonization... classics all.

When my mum was pregnant with me my older sister would play tetris on the gameboy, with the gameboy resting on my mums stomach.
Also my mum, dad and aunt all loved to play on the sega, atari jaguar and SNES all the time. I was playing games from as early as i can remember.
So i blame my family, i was doomed from the very start.
