Lily: pretty name, probably a blond.
Gretchen: Old.
Ellen: Brunette, no personality attached to the name.
Veronica: Raven haired, kind of a *****.
Fatima: Ghetto! Probably one of those people who wont shut the furk up when they don't know what they're talking about.
Cecilia: See Gretchen.
Lucy: Young.

And every Andrew I've met in reality has been a dick. Every. Single. One.

Biblical names tell me more about the parent than the person. What it tells me is that the person had boring unimaginative parents.

I had my name changed to Allaiyah; a name 0% of other people have that has absolutely no meaning in any language that I'm aware of.

Lily - Smaller than average, and with a possible taste for introspection.
Gretchen - Older, or at least comes from an older family with old-fashioned values
Ellen - See Gretchen.
Veronica - The popular type who probably expects things to be given to her because of good looks.
Fatima - Most likely Muslim parents who probably have put a strong sense of religion in her.
Cecillia - Friendly, and yet somewhat strange.
Lucy - A little dorky and nerdy, but someone who is great to spend time with.

Hm. I honestly don't really form a set image based on name. It seems to me that it depends who you've seen with those names that forms your opinion on it.
this is exactly true. for example, Gretchen is one of my favorite names, but no one here seems to like it. It makes me think of the girl in Donnie Darko, a lovely character.

Also, your icon makes me smile. Dresden Dolls ftw! :)

Lily - Redhead
Gretchen - Smells kinda funny
Ellen - I can't think of anything other than my ex.
Veronica - Pretty
Fatima - Friendly
Cecilia - Bitchy
Alice - Blonde, slightly neurotic
Mira - Energetic

I can't necessarily explain my answers, but I was aiming to be as honest as possible.

Thanks to Lost and Streets of Rage, Hugo will forever be a fat man's name to my mind.

to me people who address themselves in their full name(i.e Robert not Rob, Stephen not Steve, Alexandra not Alex ect.) tend to be more uptight than people who use nicknames or shortened names.
Matt-joker, good at keeping friends not making more
Alexandra-uptight, stuck up, *****
Jennah-nice, but not really understanding
Joe-smart
Robert-scared shy whiny
Robby-party boy
