If anything, make it known that ACTA was signed without anyone knowing it & make it known throughout the internet - fast. And I mean fast.

Nothing you can do. The measures in SOPA and PIPA will be passed. The only reason why SOPA/PIPA could be fought was because they were specific compact packages with recognizable acronyms that people could focus on. This was a mistake by the creators of those bills and the Internet exploited that weakness.

What will happen now is that components of SOPA/PIPA will be gradually integrated into other bills that WILL pass because you can't catch them all. In a matter of a year or two US will have SOPA/PIPA or something very close and they will hardly notice it happening. As for the rest of the world, US will lean on the countries it can (like they did on Spain) and gradually spread the "love".

The ACTA has been around for a while now. I joined some others when the legislation started doing the rounds internationally, and we tried to raise awareness. No one - and I mean no one - listened.

A legally binding international agreement that is negotiated in secret, protected by National Security Laws and is deemed too important to let the public have an opinion on it should not be allowed anywhere in the world.

The fact that is enabled widespread, government level censorship of the internet, and allows vested third parties free reign is fucking disgusting. And that's my professional legal opinion.

The Escapist should be BUZZING about this topic. It will be affected by it. What we need are laws and trade agreements that aren't loosely worded! We need specifics! Spread the word, we CAN win! We can't give up, we can't! That's what they want. The damn greedy bastards!
