What game are you most excited for?

I try not to get excited for games just in case it becomes a disappointment. For me, overhype (even self overhype) for a game can ruin it.

Well, it's the time of the year when we are given all the good games. We have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Halo ODST, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and a few more. What are you most excited for?

For me it's Halo ODST. I will be playing that for the rest of the year, especially firefight.

Replace ODST with Brutal Legend.

Uncharted 2
Operation Flashpoint 2
God of War 3
Final Fantasy 13

Woah, all of those games are sequels, I might need to pick up Brutal Legend as well, that games oozes enough creativity and originality to make up for it.

For some reason, I really dislike Modern Warfare 2. I loved the original but just don't like the sequel. I know the game will be awesome but the game really gets on my nerves. I can't explain why either, it's weird.

I WAS exited for tropico 3 but the demo failed bigtime,
so now dragon age is my new hot ticket. funnily enough i was going to pre order L4D2 the day before it was banned. but other than that lost planet and cod4 and mabye assasins creed

Wrong. While they did want to do that, they decided to add Call of Duty anyway for marketing reasons, pretty old news as well [http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=24370].

Anyway, for me it's a tie between L4D2, MW2, AC2, BioShock 2 and Star Wars: TOR.

I hate games that focus only on online multiplayer/co-op. NSMB doesn't have it and thank god it doesn't. Local is better anyway.

I guess. I've always been like this though. I'll hype myself up for a game then I'll go play it and be all "meh". It happened with Street Fighter IV.
