Bow, friends. For we are before no less that a God.

This moment: Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, trying to figure out the shadow maze thing in the Red Temple.
Dragon Age Origins, when I'm at my friend's house
Metroid Prime Trilogy when I feel like it: currently on Echoes.
Dragon Quest V whenever I'm not doing something else, hunting Liquid Metal Slimes.

Nothing is worse than being so close to victory, only to have have an enemy roll a critical hit. Then you fall back into a puddle of sludge with a huge hole in your chest, and the narrator kindly informs me that I have perished. Gee, thanks. I couldn't have possibly figured that out on my own.

Save scumming stops that from happening.
I've taken to doing that too. Save before every fight.

I went to the Den and did every quest there, levelled up, killed a bunch of rats, sold verything i had to get the leather armour and still got killed by a golden gecko. hahaha

Those Geckos are pure evil. Funnily enough I had more trouble with them than a cave filled with Deathclaws that I encountered later in the game.

One thing you might want to consider is stealing items from people. You can rack up tons of caps and ammo that way, and sometimes you can even nick a rare item that would normally cost an absurd number of caps.

I'm afraid to steal stuff, I have a very low skill and the whole town turned hostile on me last time I got caught... I may have to make the sacrifice later though because I keep running out of ammo.
