For me, Square- Enix, it think it would be great to work with the people behind TWEWY and KH. Great soundtracks and character design!

Aksys or Atlus. I would love to be a part of the localization crew on the titles they bring over. Catherine sounded like a fun project and Arcana Heart 3 must have been fun too. Working with people that really care about the more niche audiences.

Valve easily, no pressures for deadlines. All my reasons are mainly because they really have no publisher, they can do what they want, without a committee telling them its not realistic enough, or some BS. And mainly to devlop for Valve is pretty impressive, they don't let many people in. If not Valve, Bioware, mainly beacause there games are so story based, but then you'd have to deal with EA...

Valve, definitely. their whole company from their work ethic and their environment just seems like such a fun place to work, and the lack of shareholders in the company means that they don't have to make certain games in certain ways for a deadline, they release it when its finished which i think is the best way to make a game. But if i couldn't work for them i would like to work for a small European company such as cdproject red or GSC the games they make and the dedication and the time they put it would make up for the higher work load and lower pay

I'd love to work for The Behemoth, the best in indie gaming in my opinion, love them.

Now for an additive to the thread. What division would you want to work in? For me, Square- Enix's character design, or music. Ive loved both aspects of S.E's work all my life.

Valve or Retro.

Retro because of Metroid, Valve because of their incredibly worker friendly policies.

Last places that I'd work with would most likely be either with anything under Microsoft or EA since both are famously known for stressing their development teams into rushing unfinished products to the shelves. Really no room for creativity or genuine ideas with these guys.

Valve or Bungie.

Valve because of what looks like an incredible work place, and no shareholders means more lenient deadlines and less "design by the numbers".

Bungie because everyone there seems like cool dudes, and it'd be awesome to work with 'em all.

Bungie. I don't really know why. I guess I just liked their games.
They are also the best developer when it comes to actively working with fans and showing appreciation for fan loyalty.

Other than them, Valve, Bioware, or Ubisoft. Because I love most of the games they make and would love to be involved in the development of the next Half Life/Portal/Mass Effect/Assassin's Creed/Splinter Cell or any new ip they happen to come up with.

Edit: People Can Fly also seem like they'd be fun to work with.

Bungie because it's probably the most fun place to work. Since I know some devs by name (Frankie (retired but w/e) and Marty, etc.), you can tell they're probably awesome to work with. Plus Bungie doesn't have alot of IPs so it's probably fun to be passionate on a few games instead of somewhere with tons.
