FF-X I was 13 or 14 and having a hell of a time beating this machine boss in some frozen wasteland. The day i finally beat it my friend accidentally broke my PS2 so it couldn't read games on DVD anymore (first gen PS2s sucked for stuff like that).

Also, I never beat the last boss in Shadow Hearts 2... not sure why though.
Get the Eternal Ring from the Nemeton Monastery side quest, can kill him in one turn.

I never finished Donkey Kong 64, I couldn't clear that Donkey Kong arcade game with the barrels where you play as a plumber that wears a strange hat and rescues a Princess, that sounds familiar.

I feel ashamed, but I never beat Diablo II. Got near the end of Act IV, and LOST THE PLAY DISC. I never found the cursed thing, but I recently re-obtained it, as well as Lord Of Destruction, and now I need to sit down, grab a 2 litre of Mountain Dew, and power through with my Druid.

Wind Waker.

When they told me I had to sail around and find 8 pieces of Triforce I said 'fuck you, game', and abandoned it.
That is my least favorite part of that game,

game I never finished... Farcry 2, my hate for this game is well documented in these forums.

FF8, the combat system was so unbalanced towards the use of GFs that I never used anything except them. Never upgraded any weapons or used any magic except heal really. Then at the end of disc 3. YOU CANT USE GFS COS YOU MIGHT HIT errrmmmm the love interest god I dunno, the game was crap compared to FF7 anyway, so I said sod this.

Of all the FF games I've played, the only one I've ever gotten around to finishing was 7.

My patience is pretty low.

POP Warrior within.
Unfortunately SOMEONE (My little brother) lost the disc.

Man, I am really craving that game now. Anyone know of a box with the trilogy in it?

Several, but the one that I got closest was Zone of the Enders 2.

Got to the final boss, get my ass kicked repeteadly for hours until I just decided to give up.

Never finished Croc 2. That's the one I really regret cause I wanted to know if he found his parents or not. I did not care not having a memory card so there were some games that I liked that I did not finish. I also never finished Batman and Robin and Star Wars III cause they both sucked.

Legend of Mana - my CD would freeze at a talking mountain head. Still one of my favorite games, though. I plan on buying it some time soon.

Final Fantasy VIII; mostly because I just hated it. The story didn't really make sense, the characters were completely unlikable, when I went on a sidequest to get Eden, I just got frustrated. Yeah.
