Phantasy Star 2 on the Sega Genesis. Yeah, I know it's old and obscure, but that game was indeed hard for an RPG. I don't know if its because I was missing some hidden equipment, or secret, or what, but with my characters around level 20, there was an area that I had to go where the enemies were way stronger than they should have been. I got frustrated and never played again.

Every Final Fantasy game I've played, because I was borrowing them from friends. Devil May Cry 3, since I'm stuck on it. I have beaten my fair share of games, though. The list is not so big, though. I keep getting distracted and play other games.

Final Fantasy VIII, I got to the point where you have to save Rinoa from outer space and I was just like, "Fuck no, I hate her. I'm done now."

Final Fantasy X, because bad things happen in real life when I try to play through that game. (2 PS2's broke and our house was broken in to. I gave up on it after that.)

InFamous, due to one of the "moral choices" you have to make, wherein if you save this person it turns out to not be the person your looking for, but if you don't save them then the game makes it so that it is the person you were looking for and now they're dead.

Sorry game but you can't have it both ways either its the person your looking for and they think your a selfish bastard for saving them or alternatively die and think of you as a good person for sacrificing or whatever, or its a stranger who doesn't know why you saved them or a stranger who dies for the greater good.

EDIT: this is what I get for not reading OP, well games I never finished for not knowing what to do? Myst a truly confusing game if there ever was one.

Ive played every Final Fantasy to 13.
I've beaten:

(The MMO doesn't count as beatable really. I've 75'd a Job, so maybe I get a point?)
I play the hell out of them, get all the endgame side stuff done, stop caring if I beat the bad guy of the moment and call it off.

Its been almost 10 years and I still haven't found that last piece to make the spaceship before the last level. I gave up after I was playing it during a thunderstorm that completely erased all the saved data and fried the game's save chip, so now I can no longer save progress.
