I played a little bit of Gears of War 2 multiplayer, and then finished the night with Thief 2X, an unofficial expansion pack to Thief 2. I just got started on it, and it's really good so far.

I think the problem was.. it wasn't really made by Bioware.. it was Obsidian... whom generally make good games based on Bioware's previous titles... but I think Lucas Arts rushed the deadline.. er someone did.

It also seemed like they were avoiding making it a direct sequel to KOTOR.... hence leaving out the specifics of what happened with Revan. Maybe they expected Bioware to make a KOTOR III (I wish they would instead of the MMO). Malachor V was a great place to end the game, and Kreia did make the ending somewhat satisfactory.

I think the ending was fine in itself... but rather than Kreia explaining what happened to my companions, I would have rather seen some results of what I did to them myself.. like maybe Brianna and Visas killing each other over you... that'd be awesome. Just some closure to my influence.
Hmm...I'm not quite sure.
I don't really know Obsidian's track record, but I think they did a pretty good job handling the franchise, and it definitely didn't come out any lesser for their work on it.

Yeah...deadlines for game development teams are a *****.
They're the most miserable excuse for unfinished or incompletely realized content that could have made the final product not just good, but great.
They got a saying: "You can't rush art"...I wish publishers would heed that and let the dev teams have the time to go over everything and come out with a truly spectacular creation.

Actually, I thought it was fairly direct...though certainly much changes in between the time of the first and where you start off in SL.
They can't really pick up on Revan again, seeing as how he's gone and vanished into the unknown (though I wish they would), so they basically picked his successor...who ends up going and doing the exact same thing, rather frustratingly.
I don't quite mind the MMO, to think of it, as long as Revan and his disciples, and their fates, feature prominently in the quests, so you actually have a chance of finding out what the 2nd game withheld from gamers.

Haha, you're quite the ladies' man, aren't you?
...Or do you just go for the catfights?

I just got the GTA Trilogy for PS2 last week (because, believe it or not, I'd never played Vice City or San Andreas) and I've been playing the hell out of it. Lots of San Andreas today, although it's remarkable the degree to which I suck at Grand Theft Auto.

Fallout 3. Just finished The Pitt.

Feels odd that I sided with the slavers, but their leader seemed to have good intentions, and he sure seemed more qualified to run the city than the leader on the opposing side. Plus, didn't want to do the kidnapping. <_<

I started off with a few games of Left 4 Dead Versus mode with friends. Then I explored a little more of the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3. Then I killed time until dinner with a bit of Zuma.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Owning it up with my puny (but sexy) suppressed Beretta M9 in Hardcore Headquarters.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Sky
Beat it today actually.
Ending pissed me off, although I see why it as necessary.
It pissed me off.

Also, like the emissions, the closer you get to the end of the game, the more crashes there are. It has this positively HILARIOUS habit of making my computer restart in the middle of combat. Part of the reason why I'm so attached to quicksave. That and it's very, very easy to die.

I played Bionic Commando: Rearmed for a few hours since I'm sick with the cold. It's nice to look back on an 8-bit age of gaming that I never knew (born in 1990, raised on Super Nintendo and N64).
