STALKER, all three games.

The ease of death combined with it's finality (no checkpoints for you) made it pretty much essential to quick save after any long walk or gunfight, lest you die and end up with 40minutes walk just to get to what killed you in the first place.

All of them. If a game doesn't have one than I get pissed. If it's on the PC, make a quicksave feature for it.

I'd say Half-Life though.

Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I guess theres just something about Bioware games that makes u save a lot. O ya...the non-existant checkpoints. If you forget to save for an hour and die you are going back an hour.

Deus Ex. Play on realistic. It is hard as balls.
Which implies that the game falls to the ground screaming in the event of a successful hit. Being rather familiar with its glitches, I believe your comment still deserves support.

Far Cry 2 or Dragon Age: Origins. The former because Infamous difficulty would make mincemeat of you (and I was doing a Permanent Death playthrough), and the latter because DA:O really encouraged save-scumming.

Mass Effect, because it crashed at random on my old PC i ended up saving every few seconds. I have no intention of going through a driving stage again because the game crashed and i didn't save!

It has to be Morrowind for me. It doesn't help that, on a bad day, it could crash every other hour (although some tweeks to the .ini file fixed most of those (Though I only learnt of them after playing for about a year or so...)).

Half-Life was the game that introduced me to the world of quicksaving. Other ones are the Splinter Cell series, FEAR (especially during the scary bits) and Oblivion.

Mass Effect for PC, quicksaved every 15 seconds or so, 'cause of the random savegame corruption. Dropped it after it corrupted several of my saves for the umpteenth time. Fun game but damn, was it bugged...doubt I'll ever finish it :(

Not really quick save, but saving wise would have to be Portal from the Orange Box.

Damn challenges. >=(

Far Cry.
If you've played that game, you know that if you don't use the quicksave every 2.5 seconds, you will regret it.

Oblivion, Dragon Age Origins, Fallout 3, Mass Effect.

Pretty much every time I travel a long ass distance, and right before a big decision.
