Yes... so very much. I felt like a real jack Bauer like character, specially the office level, I just picked the shot gun and walked, not ran, through the place blowing everyone off their feet. That game had such a fun balance of Rambo and stealth.

Plus Michael Ironside is probably the most Bad-A voice in history.

Ace Combat 4 did that significantly better. Mostly because the English script for ACZ was utter gash. Seriously, it's one of the worst translation jobs of recent history, some of the lines just make no sense, even in context. Even your badass nickname is awkward and clunky.

Fallout 3 at level 30 - unstoppable god of death
Add in Chinese Stealth Armor and the Perforator and I feel like Super Nuclear Ninja Man.

Hell yeah... the Shishkebab is also a wonderful addition to that suit... one hit kill on a Deathclaw? Yes please!

Occasionally, Left 4 Dead: think hopping on a minigun and holding off a horde from teammates, or taking down a Hunter mid-leap. On the flip side, the game offers just as wide a variety of ways to make you feel like a colossal wuss- running like hell after bumping into a Witch, for example.

Oblivion, and that for only one reason: water-walking. Every time I run along the rivers of Cyrodiil I think to myself "I'm just like Jesus, only I can kill everyone and everything, and suffer no consequences at all. So I'm actually superior to Jesus!". Well, not those exact words but you get the idea. But then I feel a bit guilty thinking such un-godly thoughts. Doesn't matter though because if Jesus'd show up, I could probably kill him with ease anyway. God himself, hmm, not so sure about though.

Devil May Cry on the Son of Sparda difficulty. It's not as brutal as Dante Must Die or Heaven or Hell, but you still get the feeling that death could come from all angles at the slightest provocation. The best part is that by the time you unlock it, you really know how to play the game, so you'll be pulling off all sorts of death-defying (and dealing) techniques, ranging from hair's-width evasions to stabbing three people two million times each in the space of ten seconds. It doesn't get much better than that, in my humble opinion.
Fucking Ninja'd.
Still, Devil May Cry. More specifically, DMC 3. You jump off of a giant tower, only to run down killing demons on your way, then throw your sword and shoot it until it is going so fast it's glowing, then RUN AFTER IT! Or drive a motorcycle,.... UP THE DAMN TOWER!

Aien Swarm, finishing a mission on normal diff - on my own, after ALL my teammates got killed halfway through. It was awesome.

That game can be fucking brutal.

Painkiller (with the titular weapon), because ramming into hordes of demons and watching their appendages fly in every direction is pretty awesome.
And [PROTOTYPE], the gameplay is lovely and smooth and Alex's attack are insanely badass. Very fulfilling.

when playing fallout 3 with a zombie mod and a military combat armour *mod* feels pretty baddass going around singing in your head a jolly song while blasting zombies like cheesy powder

Truly you are the master of unlocking [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XyghKl72R0], because obviously Ace Combat is the worst thing ever written and worst translation ever.

Sheesh man, looks like someone likes Mobius 1 a little too much. Some of the lines may seem somewhat out of context, well that's because sort of like how War and Pacifism is discussed in AC5, ACZ talks about morality and a soldier thereby [PJ exempt, he got what was coming to him].

It's not that the lines are out of context, it's that the lines are bad. At least in Ace Combat 4 and 5 people sometimes talked like real human beings. Still, at least we hadn't sunk to the depths of dancing with the angels quite yet.

(And don't get me started on the plot... Should have focused on the Belkan War, not bolted on Pixy's little pack of retards at the end, because that really was out of place, badly paced, and generally a bit shit.)

Killing Floor for me. It's just so satisfying to blow off some zombie's head, have zed time activate, spin around and chain more headshots. Or just run down the hall with a shotgun. Just turn on some good heavy metal or hardstyle and shoot away.
