What game do you find yourself muting the most people/How often?

I picked up Modern Warfare 2 finally a few weeks ago (used, of course. I refuse to hop on any sort of Activision bandwagon) and was shocked to find myself muting 2-3 players a game (including players on the other team mind you). Not because of comments directed at me necessarily, but just mic spamming and douchebaggery in general.

I thought I had seen the height of this sort of thing after having played the Halos and Team Fortress, but this took it to an all new level. Anyone concur or do you have another game out there that you end up muting even more of your fellow players?

Oh, the OP already said MW2? Then I gots nothing. But seriously, you hear the biggest asshats on there. The ones that annoy me most are the ones that sing and the ones whose voices haven't even changed yet who think they're so cool because they swear every fifth word. I actually mute everyone by default, because I don't ever want to hear anybody on there to piss me off more than the broken, unbalanced game does by default.

Pretty much any game that I play xbox live on. Why? Because 70% all seem to be douchebag crackheads playing video games while they're high out of their minds just to see what would happened. Or the next 20% being the 10 year olds who shouldn't even be playing the damn game.

I had a nice conversation with ones mother once. Such an obedient kid. All I said was does your mother know you're playing and saying all those profanities? Can I talk to her? And I got one less asshole to play 17+ games. woot for me.

You, sir or madam, are awesome. Thank you for performing this public service for intelligent gamers who just want to enjoy playing a game everywhere.

I don't play any multiplayer games online... because this has been my experience:

1. Rockband -> Insulting every song choice that wasn't theirs/as soon as they found out I was a girl, guys would talk about sex until I left the game.

2. Call of Duty -> "OMG LAG" "WTF DUDE THAT WAS SO CHEAP" "NOOB!!" I block them all, except when the person that stays silent except to say something worthwhile like "Hey, someone is camping at X"

=(

I'm afraid I also found myself muting everybody. At first it was just one or two people, then I didn't bother giving them a chance, and now I don't even play with the headset on. What a waste of my ears.

I tend to mute everyone in all games. Custom soundtracks for me usually. Sure I don't do as well but there's no replacement for the feeling you get knifing someone in the back while listening to Teardrop by Massive Attack.

The only online game I play is Uncharted 2, but I mute it frequently. Why? The only people who make noise are:

-People coughing
-People playing bad music
-People talking to someone else in the room at the same time
-Swearing gangsters

...That's about it.

I mute everything. I don't want to hear some 13 year old cuss me out because I did something wrong or I got pwned or something.

Team Fortress 2. Almost always a mic spammer or someone playing music on any given server.
