what game do you hold above all others

Metal Gear Solid 3. Going back to it now, the writing was a little weak at times and a few cutscenes ran long, but the first time I played it I was just blown away. Gameplay (IMO at least) is absolutely perfect with not a single dull or too easy/ too hard moment. Incredible.

Really? You enjoy it that much? I don't get it at all, collect all the blocks except the black ones.. and you can steer with your mouse.. and when you collect them there's a sound effect that probably has nothing to do with what you're listening to as far as tone and style go :/

I like my music. And I suppose that's why I like the game.
It's simple and yet engaging.

Metroid Prime Trilogy I hold above all games. Well Metroid Prime 3: Curruption is my Favorite game ever. The game was just plain amazing. But Metroid Prime is a classic. Echoes was great. I loved Echoes, I still play Multiplayer on that game every once in a while

I couldn't pick one, Mario 3 and Zelda OoT are my favourites in their respective series. X-Com and Ultima Underworld - Stygian Abyss are my favourite PC games, Final Fantasy XII is my favourite Playstation game...

I suppose the most emotional moments I had in gaming was the ending to Secret of Mana

I was also emotional at the end of OoT, purely because I was gutted that such a great game had ended. Child Link and Zelda made eye contact and I knew I'd never play a game again that was going to be that good (although Zelda MM came closer than I thought possible).

Goldeneye and Pro Evo both hold some amazing memories of being with friends and family.

I'm sure there is more, but the point is that I couldn't remain faithful to only one game.

Mass Effect 1 (disregarding weapon add-ons), Mass Effect 2, Halo: Combat Evolved, Dragon Age: Origins and The Witcher 2. I can't decide between any of them..

Also, Neverwinter Nights 2 (Moreso MoTB than OC, but both work) over Neverwinter Nights. Stories could have used to work, but the armor/character graphics in NwN1 still look like utter shit to me.
