Modern Warfare 2.

Twice, because I'm a fucking moron.
how did you manage that?
Got it on the 360 because friends said they were gonna get it too. They didn't. Sold to some random guy for $10.

Then got it on the PC because other friends wanted to play together there. That lasted a little while, but this is MW2 we're talking about so the fun died out pretty quick.

Modern Warfare 2. The singleplayer is alright but the multiplayer gets boring way too fast. I've been playing css for years and it never got very boring but I didn't want to play this game after a few months. The worst part is that it costs more than a game like that should cost.

DMC3's pc port.
They didn't even try to change it. I bought two copies, one as a gift and I actually feel guilty about giving it to someone.

It didn't work on a keyboard, so I bought a controller. The controller then proceeded to not work so I bought a 360 controller.

It didn't work with a 360 controller, I buy DMC4 off steam sale FOR LESS THEN I BOUGHT 3 and DMC3 goes flying out the window.

Luckily, I got MW2 for a Christmas present. In recent memory, right now it'd be Thief. Nothing against the game but my computer won't let me install it. Stupid newer files not being recognized by older software. But, it was under $10 so maybe I'm not that disappointed. Can't say Final Fantasy X-2 because, while an immense disappointment, it was also a Christmas present. Ah, got it. The XBox Live download of "Intellivision Lives!" So not worth it, even for someone like me who loves retro stuff. Maybe since I never owned the Intellivision it can't evoke the same emotions as, say the Mega Man collection.

I did this twice in a month.

Bought a Disgaea visual novel for psp but didn't know it wasn't a game so was a waste of 20$
Wasted 7$ on Max payne for Ps2. Horrid lag.
Blazblue for 50$. Love it, it's fun, but it's mostly online and I don't have gold so I wasted a lot of money.

Dragon Age: Origins.

Yeah, massive Bioware / RPG fan here, and I was just utterly disappointed. I got it when it first came out for just under £40 too ugh. It's the only game I've really regretted buying - after becoming a Grey Warden, the whole thing just became incredibly boring. It felt like it was trying too hard to do the whole mthical, medieval thing (more than Oblivion), and was just generally bland and repetitive. Even the combat system ate poo. The characters were interesting though, but that seemed to be the only interesting thing about the entire game.

Bioshock 2. I like the game and all but GfWL screwed me over preventing me from being able to save it, meaning I can't replay the game.

Star trek: Online. I'm a ST fan and it looked cool. Sort of like my favoutite Trek game Bridge commander. It was not very fun IMO after being used to having complete control of my ship in BC from power distribution to sensor sweeps it felt so dull and shallow. I wanted to explore new worlds on my personal Enterprise, but no. Waste of £40. glad i quit after the free month subscription.

It's not a game but I regret buying an Xbox 360. I got rid of it within a fortnight.

As for a game, I'd say the Orange Box.

Recently? FFXIII and Naughty Bear. I've ranted about these 2 games so much recently I honestly can't bring myself to rant any more. They were both such massive let-downs. Why didn't I learn my lesson after buying FFXII?! Sigh

Bioshock, worst five bucks I ever spent. I have spent money on worse things, but those weren't five dollars.

LittleBigPlanet was probably the biggest gaming disappointment I've had in recent memory. I was incredibly excited for it, due to its charm and the fact that I love game editors, but the editor was so complicated and the gameplay was so bland and broken, that I couldn't stand it for more than a few hours. $60 down the drain...

Torchlight.

My friend kept telling me how great a game it was and I bought it for $4. Worst money I ever spent for a shitty rip off of a game I already owned (Diablo II).

Anyway, I ended up with MW2 as a free gift from a friend who works in the industry and got an extra CD key from a different friend for DA:O, so that's really the only game I regret buying.

Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii...

I really like the Arcade Versions, mostly because of the Japanese Eurobeat Music.
Is that Music also in the Console version? - no, it's Pop music -_-'
So is just about all of them after the Supernova series. In fact the last good one was the first Supernova. Then because Konami USA had taken over they started putting modern pop and rap in with like, 2 or 3 jap songs, you know, the fun ones intended for DDR.

However in the interest of the initial thread...
Too Human and Star Wars TFU.
I thought both were actually pretty fun games, what made me regret the purchase was them being 3-5 hours long. For $69.99. That's like, a crime. I have played expansion packs that lasted longer.

White Knight chronicles, got rid of it like less then a week after i got it

FFXII : was so painfully meh that i lost interest, it sat for a while but ultimately was a wast of money

Ninja Geiden Sigma: got it with a bunch a other PS3 games when i got my PS3, traded it for Folk Lore, and never once regretted it

i'm sure theres others, i just don't keep shitty games long enough to remember then more then a week later

Well, I've wasted my money on several things; but Valkyrie Profile 2 was a horrible waste of my money...

It wasn't that the game sucked. Hell, I bet it's downright beautiful, but I bought the game from a Gamestop; which actually didn't have the actual DISC, just the box. The disc itself was located at another store, in another town about 30 miles away. Since I really wanted that game, and I had purchased it for $40, I went to the other store, and obtained the disc. When I finally got home. IT DIDN'T WORK! ON ANY OF MY PLAYSTATION 2s! I tried everything... no data.

Tried to return it, wouldn't accept it.

That, and Borderlands. I love that game with a passion when you have other friends to play with, but because I was foolish and in a rush when I tried to buy it, I ended up buying it twice. Once online for the PC for because I clicked the wrong option by accident, which I don't have the proper installments to play, and once more from a store for $55. Annnddd... no returns accepted...

Unfortunate circumstances, and stupid wastes of money, because of my own impatience.
