First, I do not regret anything, any time, for any reason. But I might have done things differently knowing what I know now.

I sold a shrink-wrapped NES cartridge of Final Fantasy 1. Yeah, I got $90 for it, but now that I don't need the money I'd like to have my keepsake back.

I sold Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, but not the other 3 games and I haven't got a f*cking clue why!

Other than the first (I can't decide between the two) it was my favourite. I'll probably get it on Steam soon though, if it works on Vista and there's widescreen support.

i didn't regret selling anything, but a store was blowing out their old PlayStation games a while back.

I was thinking of buying Suikoden and Suikoden II for 7 dollars each. My mom even said to buy a couple as they could be good investments and i said no. Dumb dumb me.

I would say for me it was Legend of Dragoon, you cant find that game anywhere anymore.
Really? My old game store in Montreal had two or three copies if I recall. Of course there is additionally Ebay. You ought to try smaller location such as Mircoplay for rare games.

OT: I suppose Suikoden and trading in all my N64 games and Gameboy games. I was able to repurchase Suikoden again for a low price fortunately.

I regret selling my DS and the games I had for it. Also, my GBA and all it's games - I miss you Golden Sun!

Amazon is your friend:

On that note, I bought that same game at a yard sale years ago and despite the bad voice acting, terrible cliches and horrifying graphics, I could never see myself selling it. It's just got that certain charm that makes it awesome. Also, it's fun as all hell.

The main one I regret selling (because I don't really sell that many of them, I know I always end up regretting it) was one of the first game boy games I ever owned: Metroid II-Return of Samus. When I first got my gameboy, I had no idea how to play this game, what the hell was going on, or what to do. I think I played it for maybe ten minutes before I tucked it away somewhere and ultimately sold it. Now that I've since played the living hell out of zero mission, super metroid and fusion, I completely wish I had it back to play again.

SCIV was quite disappointing. I found SCIII for cheap, but my PS2 is dead and the SCIII data on my memory card is corrupted :( Fate you are a cruel and ironic bastard!
Man I bought SCIV after not having played the series since SCII( best fighting game ever) and was horribly disappointed not because SCIV was a bad game but because everything I loved about the series like its quirky charm was somehow kind of gone.

Gave away my Amiga 500 and a ton of games, not originals though.

Now I realize the Amiga was EPIC and I want it back.

Really craving to play though that again, and can't... I have a PS2 waiting for it!
