I'm always irritated by this question. Partly because its a bit pointless, partly because it pops up constantly, but mostly because of the replys. I'm not sure most people understand what originality means.

Just because something existed before someone else made it, if nobody knew about it, then pong would indeed be an original concept. More importantly, I'm curious about this supposed precursor to pong. TO GOOGLE!

that would be original, as for your question, probably Tetris, nothing else like it at the time.
