I feel that the game "Darkest of Days" needs a sequel. I thought that it could have been something if the game makers had simply used better graphics, a more sandbox style gameplay, and simply smoothed out the game to make it just feel better.

Final Fantasy needs to stop to be honest. Square badly needs to make a new original game and turn it into a franchise.

I can't think of anything that would need a sequel at the moment.
So...they should just not name each one Final Fantasy. 'Cuz then they'd be all independent of each other.

Nothing needs a sequel.

It's like saying the human body needs more than air, water, food and sleep.
We don't
Except it's not like saying that, at all.

OT: KotOR 3 for f*ck sake, PLEASE Bioware/LA - just tell me that bloody MMO is just a horrible lie and you want to give me a proper story, my own adventure, and return me to the glory of the first game.

PLEASE.

Considering all Halo games seem to be exactly the same, then that. Although somehow, a game being exactly the same as the last is (exclusively to Halo) a brilliant thing according to some critics.

Alright guys, I just beat MW2 today [I just got it yesterday[Not enough money at launch date.].] The ending basically sends out the idea "WE LIKE MONEY, SO WE WILL HAVE A SEQUEL!". Left4Dead 2 needs a sequel, at least one more, then just keep releasing DLC. Halo might go on forever, Gears of War needs a sequel, but every bright side has a dark counter part, I remember the days I bought every single Naruto game I could find, I still like it, but the video games are shit! Everytime I play a Nintendo or Sega game they just milk Mario and Sonic, Comic games are starting to make a comeback, but for the past decade it has been utter failure, so they begs a question. What games need expansion or need to be nuked.
I'd like to see MW can it, as well as Mario. I think Killer 7 deserved a sequel (though I don't know how you'd pull it off story wise) as did Okami... R.I.P...
Borderlands deserves a sequel (once they fix the first frigging game) and I'd like to see anothr Parasite Eve game.
World of warcraft well and truly needs to die. i really hope that diablo III kills WoW's influence and subscription numbers.

Final Fantasy 7, not a sequel but a remake, make it xbox360 aswell and Squareenix will be rolling in it (cow-shit I mean)

I'd buy three copies, one to play, one as a back-up and one to cuddle at night

I'd like to see Beyond Good and Evil 2...
that is happening, haha.
No it's not. It's vaporware at this point. It gets teased and then cancelled every year.
a magazine i have with brand new screenshots says otherwise. It looks to be a bit like assassin's creed in terms of the free roaming running through the streets and climbing buildings.

PSM3 only available in australia and new zealand.
Ubisoft themselves came out and said the rumours it had been put on hold were false, so for the time being, it's development is concrete and ongoing. Rejoice.
Excerpt taken from Wikipedia says this "In November 2009, Geoffroy Sardin, the General Director of Ubisoft France, said that the rumors about the game being put on hold were false and that development was still on-going." I have no reason to believe otherwise. PSM3 are fairly reliable.

There's so many examples that it would take me half an afternoon just to write up a reasonably comprehensive list. Instead, just go by this rule of thumb.

  • * It was good and I want more of it? It needs a sequel.

    * It might have been good but now I'm nauseated by the developers' ineffectual attempts to rekindle the initial magic? It needs to be stopped.

Only available in Australia? That could explain why I've seen nothing like that. Well, thanks for the info!
