IF, and that's a very big, dump filled if, a game were in fact to become a show, I'd have to go with something along the lines of Manhunt, only make it an internet only show, and multiplayer, and just let all the people in the world with a lack of intelligence maim each other
I thought Halo already -was- a T.V. show? At least...I think I remember seeing Red Vs. Blue on tv once....must have been a spot or something...

I think a really well-developed show based LOOSELY on the Shadow Hearts series could be cool. I like the whole alternate history thing, with all it's little supernatural explanations to all the events of the twentieth century.

The only Video Game TV Show to date that was good was Sonic Underground.
If a show were made off of a newer existing property I'd suggest an online only game where there is no existing story (or the story doesn't interact much with the player).
Consider Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead, heck even World of Warcraft would work.

The problem however, is that television is meant to appeal to the lowest common denominator and that means that everyone has to get it. That's why there are a lot of shows that sort of stifle their creativity for the sake of cheap laughs...It makes things a lot easier and keeps ratings up. Not to mention money and all. A game can be brought to the small screen so long as it is cheap and the story is relatively simple.

Maybe, Manifest. I do think that IP (or Fahrenheit, as it was known here), would make for a good show. However, it would need better writing in the last bit. I also demand Carla Valenti get naked more often. Other than that, I'm okay with it.
that would be the worst idea in the world, making a game into a TV show. Considering the crap people watch these days, you would get some shit ass sitcom about Solid Snake living in an apartment with a couple friends, who do nothing. Or "Dancing with the stars of Team Fortress", or worse yet, an OC rip off called "Hyrule". Regardless, it would suck more than a prostitute with 5 mouths and a lot of extra saliva.
