For me, it's Fallout 3. The feeling that I got when I first walked out of the Vault and the immense sense of discovery whenever I found someplace new was the best part of the game.

What about you?

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Ghost Trick, or tales of monkey island, bot the games are fantastic with great stories that lose something the 2nd time you play though, like the surprise ending and twist etc etc.

For me it would be Oblivion, I had that same sense of discovery you had when I first played TES IV.

Oh look, yet another thread asking people to list my favourite games.

- Bioshock
- Mass Effect 1+2
- Amnesia
- Portal
- Half Life 2

Y'know, the usual suspects.

Jade Empire.

From the spoiler on, I was in a transport of story-based joy. One of the best gaming moments of my existence.

Bioshock is my pretty obvious candidate. The worst part is, I think someone had spoiled that famous moment for me just before I got there. Luckily I've never been one to mind spoilers much.

Mass Effect 2, I've become so not immersed after it was broken by the morality system. :3

Ghost Trick, Great story. :D

The entire Phoenix Wright series.

Also even though it would totally be a pain I'd want to also replay 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors because the 'true' ending to that game was ridiculous levels of awesome. xD

That's all off the top of my head.

Obvious one for me is Bioshock, because it felt really short, but I loved it. I also occasionally want the ability to play Limbo, Portal, and Portal 2.

Lost odessey , i wish i could read all the thousand years of dreams for the first time . The story in that game was spectacular , the short-stories in that game was nothing short of amazing . Sure a lot of people thing that it was just too long to read , but if you read them and put yourself in kaims shoes , then you would feel the pain he endures by being immortal .

San Andreas, the feeling I got when I first played it was something else, I can't really describe why it felt so special. It isn't my favourite game by any means, but something about it at the time..I don't know.

Legend of Dragoon. I want to properly play it so I can finish it this time instead of getting stuck on Disc 2 because of a scratched disc at a young age.

Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn without having played any of the other C&C games.
The fun would be so intense it would be doubled!

Bioshock and Heay Rain. No matter how great other games are they have not had such powerful first impressions on me as these two.
