The title is pretty much explanatory. If you do not know what this is about, I can not help you. Just turn the computer off and walk away.
For the rest of you tell me what game made you feel amazing. Like you just concord the world.
For me it was beating Shadow of the Colossus. *Few* What a rush!

it probably was the credits that did that for me.
looking back at all the good things i had done i actually felt really good about myself. quickly picking a tear out my eye for the great game that it was and still is.

.......i'm gonna play it again right now.

Left 4 dead. Tank moments, being rushed by a massive wave of zombies and of course rushing for the helicopter. Effect is double if you fight your way to help a friend who needs to be rescued.

Back in the day, finishing Shadow of the beast 2 with no outside aid was kinda like that. However even more was actualy beating UFO enemy unknown (aka Xcom ufo defence) on superhuman difficulty.

I reckon the first time I beat Super Mario Galaxy 1. Just because the purple coin level on Toy Time Galaxy took so long... Gah! Frustrating! Grrr! *rocks maniacally in corner*

EDIT:

OOH! Or Rolo to the Rescue back on the Sega Genesis! :D
Brilliant game, but the last boss... Gah! Frustrating! Grrr! *rocks maniacally in corner*

I agree with this. Shadow of the Colossus is my idea of a perfect gaming experience. You'd think a game with virtually no plot wouldn't be able to hold you emotionally; but, you'd be wrong.

Beating Street Fighter II Turbo on the SNES on all-star difficulty and getting the artwork after the credits were shown.

Drowning a battalion of elite goblin archers by turning the ground underneath them to quicksand in a D&D3.5e game several years back, or entombing a bunch of Dwarven 'highwaymen' who were attempting to extort a toll from our party while traveling though a tunnel system -- my earth cleric and the sorcerer built walls covering up the honeycombed walls where the bulk of their guys were hiding.

Basically, pen and paper rules.

Same game for me too although for different reasons.

I used to be terrible at gaming even though I enjoyed it and Kingdom Hearts was the first game I ever completed on hard mode. Combine that with the beautiful story, fantastic ending and difficult final boss fights, I was pretty much elated for days. It's still one of my favourite ever games.

Overwhelming sense of accomplishment...off the top of my head, I have to say Baten Kaitos and Kana: Little Sister, for very different reasons.
