Agreed. I miss the old days of piloting a Mech in first person.Broken Wings said:I'd like to see more Mech games like Mech Assault. I know some of them can be really complex but once you get the hang of it they are just so much fun.
But other genres would have to be more Assassin's Creed (with better investigation missions, they were too repetitive). Playing it a second time, I have stealth assassinated every target so far. My first time through, I was spotted by everyone. I am a little wiser now.
and more Shadow of Colossus (whatever genre that game goes into).
I would also say more survival horror like Dead Space, but it doesn't really fit into survival horror, more action horror. And how hard would it be for them to have some non-scripted enemies? I've played through the game twice now, and every single enemy is scripted. The point of a horror game is so that you don't know what is coming. Throw in some random necromorphs bustin' through the air vents and you ramp up the horror factor a good bit. Hell, most games need this. Bioshock did it right, learn from them people.
I'll get off my soap box now.
