Lineage 2, four years despite hating it...

It makes sense in context, trust me...

NavyFIELD. If you've played it, you understand. Stopped my life to grind from a NDD to a Lion II.

This was after the disappointment associated with the H39.

Fallout, Oblivion, and Mabinogi. All great RPG's that fill my spare time.

It's either Guild Wars or Unreal Tournament 2004.

I used to use Gamespy to play UT2004, and I remember having 1000+ hours logged on UT2004 before I stopped playing for a while. I returned later with a new account that had around 200+ hours before I stopped using Gamespy, and I still play it today so God knows how much I've played it in total. I just checked my Guild Wars time in-game, over both my accounts I've played around 1600 hours.

It's weird, I don't even think it's sad. I've had those games for years and still play them today. I enjoy(ed) them a lot, the time has added up over the years but I don't see it as wasted time.

Call of Duty, but not because I play it. It's because my boyfriend plays it for HOURS at a time. With all my friends. :[

As for me personally, MGS, all of them. And Oblivion. I spent a lot of time on Oblivion. :sigh:

Probably World of Warcraft, though Counter Strike: Source may be higher, I've accumulated 500+ hours on it, it's a bit sad...

Civilization IV. I have a lot of RPGs that I spend a lot of time on, but none of them came close to the Civ IV. I failed a class playing this game. I would've ruined my marriage if my wife wasn't so addicted to the game as well.

Although realistically I'd also have to include Dark Age of Camelot, as I spent a good 4 years playing that game. In the end I think I was over 1000 hours played on my main. That's more than 41 days of my life playing DAoC.

Another good one would be Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals. It's a pretty standard entry into the SNES RPG library, except for one thing: The Ancient Cave. It's a randomly generated dungeon with 99 levels of increasing difficulty, where you start at the beginning at lvl 1 with almost no equipment and build your way up throughout the dungeon, only taking with you certain treasures when you leave. Brilliant, brilliant game and sucked many a day from my life.
