Bought Chrono Cross 3 times. First time my parents or brother threw it away cause I played it too much (I think I was 11 or 12?), the second time was because I never finished it when I was 12, the third time was because the second disc, the second time didn't work properly.
Technically the third time wasn't buying it again so much as getting a replacement copy from the game store, but still.

I own 5 copies of hl2 ep1, no you can't have one. I give them away to freinds on their birthdays to save money. I also bought Freedom Fighters 4 times.

Ok, technically, I did once but that was because the first time I bought it the store sold me a busted copy and they wouldn't give me a new one or a refund.

I had to rebuy my copy of "The Suffering" because I lent it to someone and forgot who it was. More impressive is a friend of mine who has bought the Diablo II Battle Chest 5 times because he always manages to lose a disc or cd key every time he tries to reinstall it.

I bought 2 copies of Diablo II:Lord of Destruction. The first came with the Diablo battle chest years ago, then I lost my disc, so I went out and bought another copy of the expansion. I later found the disc I had lost and reacted with a super sonic facepalm.

I bought Morrowind twice, the regualr version and then the Game of the year edition.
I also bought Oblivion twice, for the 360 and then for the PS3, I have no idea why.

I've bought Diablo 2 about three times, and Diablo 1 thrice as well. I keep losing the disks (actually one time I had to buy Diablo 1 again because my brother fucked up the disk by spinning it in the case too much.)

For some stupid reason I decide to trade in my first copy of American McGee's Alice for store credit. When I saw it again later bundled with Clive Barker's Undying for $10, I snapped it up eagerly. I also purchased the Orange Box for my personal Steam account, despite already having it on the Steam account that I shared with my little brother back when I still lived with my parents, when it was the weekend deal for $10 or $15 about a month ago. Those are my only examples of this behavior.

I baught Diablo 2 expansion 4 times. Once for myself, twice for friends, and once more for a seccond computer so I could item transfer without a friend.
