I'm playing Alan Wake, and I'm having a good time. It actually has a good story and a interesting cast. I've been looking at the wiki and listening to "The Poet and the Muse" over and over again. But hey, I get committed to games. :)

Name a game you have been recently, and what you think of it in a few sentences.

Just beat Mass Effect 2 again yesterday. After that I tried to play DA:O again after watching the live stream of DA2, but I can never settle on one race/class combo and so I've played the first few hours so many damn times I don't want to do it anymore.

Just closed Crysis. I was close to finishing it on my old computer and forgot to back-up my save file when I got my new computer, so now I gotta do it all over again. Not the best shooter I've ever played, but thanks to the nanosuit it ain't no punishment to do it again either.

2 Is looking up to be even better. A lot better actually, I think the urban environment of New York will provide a much more interesting and dynamic playground.

DA:O in preparation for DA2. Although I'm cheating cuz I've already beat it but since I changed my profile name on PSN I couldn't bring my files over to my new name. Stupid Sony.

Halo Reach, and it's bad for my health. I'm still screwing around with my comp so I can't play anything on it yet, and as far as the 360 goes there's nothing recent on there that even remotely interests me besides Reach (Blops can go to hell for all I care). Even so, the game is pretty stupid, my last match had 2 people quit in the first minute, leaving a 2v4 and getting sworded to the face/rocketed and teabagged. Honestly, the amount of people in that game who think they're hot shit because they can crouch camp is ridiculous. Still, I'd rather play that than FAMAS FAMAS FAMAS RCXD CHOPPER GUNNER FAMAS. I'd very much like to get into BC2, but I don't have enough people to team up with.

As far as good games go, Planescape Torment on my laptop. Good times, and a swift change of pace from all those damn kids getting on my lawn. I should probably get around to getting Arcanum as well, I've seen quite a few copies in teh gaem store sitting around.

I've been having ago on Champions Online, now that it's available free to play. Just finished the tutorial, pretty fun, although pretty atrocious writing. I can't play it on highest quality though, and my the colours on the cloak of my meticulously designed character are fucked up.

Played the first Icewind Dale yesterday night. I love the setting and overall "feel" of this game. It's a bit harder than I remember though. A mage and his archers cost me a few reloads.

I have been playing Pokemon soulsilver. Yeah, I like it, but I might stop playing pokemon games as there are getting to be too many Pokemon now (IMHO).

I started playing it on my own, and it really was a pleasant surprise. The community overal seems to be a lot more tolerant and helpful than most other shooters. Makes sense I guess, it's not such a solo/stat-brag game as CoD or Halo.

... You have a gameshop with proper copies of Arcanum? I so envy you right now.

Since I only bought it a few hours ago, Super Street Fighter IV, against my sister. I'm enjoying the time I have whilst I'm better than her at a fighting game. Which never happens. And, by the looks of how well she's now doing on Arcade, that won't last long.
Either way, it's still pretty fun. Not knowing any of the controls but still randomly zapping the buggery out of people as Blanka was oddly satisfying.

Fallout:New Vegas

I'm about 40 hrs in now and I'm enjoying it.Not quite as serious as FO3,companions are actually useful this time and there's not as much pitch black tunnel exploring

On the downside loading screens are painfully long and annoyingly frequent and there's still some minor bugs and glitches even after the patches

Hate to sound like a broken record, but, yeah, it's Black Ops alright.

There's a lot to do in that game.

Like, shoot people. Shoot some more people. Shoot everyone.
